Monster iSport Victory In-Ear Headphones review: A winning in-ear sports headphone that fits securely and sounds very good

The iSport Victory is Monster's premium in-ear wired sports headphone. It comes in a couple of different colors and retails for around $150 in the US, £130 in the UK, and AU$229 in Australia. That's probably a little more than it should cost, but it...

The Monster iSport Victory fits very securely and comfortably and is sweat-resistant and literally washable. It also delivers good sound, with strong bass and detail. An Apple-friendly inline remote and microphone is included along with a smart...

The headphone seals out the outside world, which can be bad if you're a runner or biker and want to hear oncoming traffic. The remote buttons are small, and the middle ControlTalk button is stiff.

Despite a couple of small flaws, the Monster iSport Victory offers a great fit, is water-resistant, and one of the better sounding in-ear sports headphones out there.

Monster iSport Victory in-ear headphones

These in-ear headphones are designed to stay in place while you exercise

Snug fit and limited movement, particularly when running ; Plenty of bass and clear treble sounds ; Nicely-constructed carry pouch

Expensive ; Some users might find them uncomfortable

There are much cheaper in-ear headphones that deliver the same quality sound. Nevertheless, the Monster iSport Victory sit quite well in the ear and perform well in all conditions.

Monster iSport Victory review

Next month, Monster will make available its range of iSport in-ear headphones, touted as "the athlete's headphones". We road-tested the iSport Victory series, which have a useful design that hooks the headphones on the front inside rather than over the...

Monster iSport Victory in-ear headphones

Perhaps one of the biggest issues for runners — who are sometimes forced to run alone with only music for company — is the constant need to adjust in-ear headphones while moving. It's frustrating and takes away from the experience. Many models never...

"Best combo of sound quality and use with running"

I'm surprised by @DrewStar24's experience with these headphones. I've had my first pair for over a year now and they're going strong. The only physical issue I noticed was the rubber cover for the volume, play and pause button has lost some of it's...

Great for running

Not great for hearing ANY outside noise. It's completely noise cancelling

"Major manufacturing flaw/issue"

I am just about to return my second pair of iSport Victory headphones. The first pair lasted a week, the second lasted just one hour. My exercise is running on a treadmill in a gym, I have the headphones attached to an iPod Nano which is strapped on my...

These are good headphones. I tend to go through them enough. These are sturdy and expect to have them around for a long time. They fit comfortably and stay in place which is good even when you\'re moving about at the gym or bike riding. Good isolation...
