Motorola Bluetooth Headset H710

The H710 looks to continue Moto's success with Bluetooth headsets. The H710 incorporates Multipoint access letting users connect several compatible devices simultaneously.

Attractive and small headset ; Mulitpoint dual-pairing feature ; Cool flip-out boom microphone

Achieving pairing mode is harder than it should be ; Would not be discovered by Sony Ericsson phones ; Performed dismally with Nokia handsets

Overall Our excitement at discovering the attractive H710 on our desks quickly turned to frustration and disappointment when trying to pair the headset and when making calls. Using the H710 with an iPhone gave us some hope that the experience could...

Faulty Batch

Should have read more into the reviews. My unit was definitely used, the metallic "paint" used on the inside of the boom mic seemed like it was scratched off and on the inside hinge of the boom there seemed to be someone else's earwax, or a similar...

Comfortable, sounds great, simple to use, easy turn on/off (disconnects from phone when boom mic is closed)

Defective, RMA'd and waiting for another unit. This should definitely be handled in such a way that customers are not getting refurbished units (see below)

TOTAL GARBAGE

Returned and asked for a refund. When asked why I wanted a refund I simply stated "look at the ton of bad reviews for this item". That was pretty much case closed.
