Motorola H9 Miniblue review: Motorola H9 Miniblue

We've seen some tiny Bluetooth headsets come our way here at CNET, but few are smaller than the appropriately named Motorola H9 Miniblue. This diminutive headset first debuted at CES 2006 under the name H5 Miniblue, but Motorola decided to relaunch it...

The Motorola H9 Miniblue Bluetooth headset is tiny and weighs less than an ounce. Its buttons are easy to press, and the headset fits very securely in the ear. Audio quality is decent, and it even comes with a portable charging base that adds hours to...

The Motorola H9 Miniblue Bluetooth headset has a flanged eartip that fits very deeply in the ear, which could prove uncomfortable for some people.

Though a bit expensive, the Motorola H9 Miniblue Bluetooth is compact and lightweight, and it has great audio quality. It also comes with a handy portable charging base.

Mini Bluetooth Headset H9

One can imagine headsets that are more diminutive than Motorola's H9 (1.3 by 0.9 inches), but anything smaller would be in danger of disappearing down your ear canal. This should leave the H9 comfortably positioned, residing among the smallest...

Very, very small. Terrific portable charger. Good sound quality

For those with an aversion to having something jammed in their ear, it's a bit uncomfortable and very conspicuous. Pricey

Bluetooth headsets don't get any smaller than this. Even so, the very pricey Motorola H9 offers good sound for the size.

Review: Motorola Mini H9 Universal Bluetooth Headset

Looking for a small Bluetooth headset? One that covers basic operation but doesn't overwhelm you with too many advanced features? Motorola may have just what you are looking for

Small and Lightweight, Good Call Volume and Microphone Reception, Charging Cradle doubles as a travel charger

Unbalanced feel, Indicator Light can be annoying

The unit has one main button that encompasses just about the entire surface of the headset and volume buttons located on the sides of the headset. A large portion of the main button also functions as an indicator light

Miniature Moto - Motorola H9 Review

A Bluetooth headset smaller than a 10 pence piece, that's what you get with the brand new Motorola H9 Bluetooth earpiece. The downside is a rather tight in ear fit and the uncanny resemblance when side on to a small boys tackle!

Bum Rap

With the price of gas skyrocketing, I have been forced to use my motorcycle to do most service calls. This little thing fits inside my ear undernearth my helmet allowing me to use the phone's navigator function while riding. Other reviewers have...

Small size... Cordless recharging base... Excellent sound quality... and good range

Maybe too small for most people. It is easy to loose or leave behind. Whereas it fits in the ear instead of over it, I implusivily take it off when not using it. I've washed it. I've left it with clients, I've even lost it at a stop light but I always...

Way too quiet

Compact, fits ion ear and stays there

WAY TOO QUIET. I've relegated this to home use becasue even with normal in car noise you can't hear anything from this unit at it's highest setting

Poor distance from phone is forcing me to return this item

I cannot put my phone in my pocket without getting unacceptable levels of static. I like the earpiece and would like to keep it, but due to the lack of distance that it is able to be from my phone, I am regrettably sending this back.

Small size (although it is a little bulky sticking out of your ear), good fit, relatively clear for user and person on the other end

Distance from phone is terrible
