Noontec Zoro HD True Sound (Red)

It's easy to mistake the Noontec Zoro HD for the original Zoro on-ear headphones , which became a budget audiophile favorite when they were introduced in 2012. The Zoros offered similar styling to the on-ear Beats Solo headphones but cost a lot less...

The affordable Noontec Zoro HD headphones mimic Beats Solo styling, but the Zoro HDs sound better, delivering clean, well-balanced sound that will appeal to audiophiles. They're also comfortable to wear, they fold up to stow away in an included...

The plastic hinges don't inspire confidence in their long-term durability.

While their build quality is nothing special, the Noontec Zoro HD headphones improve on the original Zoros, offering audiophile-grade sound in a $100 pair of headphones.

Noontec Zoro

The wild popularity of Monster Beats by Dr. Dre spurred a mini-revolution in the headphone world. Suddenly, celebrity-endorsed products have become commonplace, along with powerful options with strong bass intended for modern mixes with deep low end....

Reasonably priced. Quality audio performance at moderate volumes, with crisp mids and highs. Detachable cable adds value

Minor distortion at maximum volumes on deep bass tracks. No phone controls on cable. Not terribly comfortable

The Noontec Zoro shamelessly mimics the look of the pricey Beats by Dr. Dre, and though these headphones suffer from some minor distortion, they offer quality audio performance for a much lower price.

Noontec Zoro (Black)

The Noontec Zoro headphones are unusual in a number of ways, though some folks will first focus on their styling. The high-gloss finish and smooth headband mimic the look of the Beats by Dr. Dre Solo , but the resemblance ends there. The Zoro...

The Noontec Zoro is an audiophile-oriented on-ear headphone model with a detachable cable and styling that mimics the Beats Solo, but with better sound quality.

The Zoro headphones lack an inline remote and microphone, and buyers craving heavy bass may be disappointed by its neutral sound.

Bona fide $100 audiophile headphones are rare, but the Noontec Zoros' remarkably clear and balanced sound will wow the cognoscenti.

Good audio, even better style

These headphones are pretty good. They sound better than the Beats solos. The base is good and the hi's are amazing. The comfort is good the only problem I have is I workout with them and the sound isolation is awful. As ong as you listen in quiet...

Noontec Zoro review

In design terms, Noontec's Zoro headphones are on the cutting edge of fashion, with flat earpieces that rest on the ear - they're strongly reminiscent of the Beats headphones the cool kids wear on the bus. Fortunately, if you happen to sitting next to...

Although they have a vibrant sound with clear bass and treble, we prefer more balanced headphones with better mid-range definition

Noontec Zoro

Zoro takes on Dr. Dre. A rapier versus gangsta rap rapier wit. Who gonna win?

Clear, neutral sound ; Foldable design

Poor noise isolation ; Clear Beats rip-off
