Gennum nxZEN 5000 VoIP Bluetooth Headset

What's better than talking on Skype? How about talking on Skype and being able to wander around the house? Or make dinner? Or even do the ironing...?

DSP Performance -120 MIPS ; Once configured, easy to use ; Great battery life

Short range ; Buggy software ; Not miniUSB compatible

The concept works, but the device falls short. I found the software a little too cumbersome initially, and lack of feedback on the actual headset made calling difficult. Also, it would be nice to see mini-USB next time. Call quality is good though,...

Very Disappointing

Everyone I talked to while using it said they could hear me very clearly

Way expensive! The little ear bud would pop off every time I took the headset off. The sound was awesome if I held the headset in my ear, but the moment I let go it would push its way out

Nice headset, but...

I bought this to work with my cell phone AND my computer. Need the 5500 model to do that. So sayeth the manufacturer. Made the mistake of ordering this one and ended up paying the restocking fee to correct the mistake. Live and learn.

It's lightweight and simple operation. Easy on the ear

Although this unit claims to be able to connect with 3 other "devices" one of them will NOT be your computer
