Unsuitable for purpose

 

They were intended for listening to CD music with a background of television at a reasonable low level. Although acceptable on the general TV sound,including music,it was completely ineffective with voices.

Great headphones. Sound fantastic and prretty comfortable too. Quite pricey, which is why they only get 4 stars.
