Great for the price!

They sound fine, and it really is convenient in certain situations, like running on a treadmill, to have that in-line volume control, which is why I bought them in the first place.

Disappointed

 

I was looking for a pair of earbud headphones for use at the gym. Due to the noise level of the gym, I thought a cheap pair with the widest frequency range would suffice.

Panasonic's RP-HV277 earbud-style headphones can replace lost or stolen 'phones without breaking the bank. Panasonic claims that the combination of 14.8mm drivers with a vented XBS design increases bass response. These tiny in-ear headphones also feature neodymium magnets, made of a rare-earth material that allows a powerful magnet to be very small. The rated frequency response for these 'buds is claimed to be 10 Hz-25 kHz (a spec that the most expensive headphones would be ambitious to boast). The RP-HV277s come with a compact carrying case and a cord that terminates in an L-shaped 1/8-inch mini jack.
