This stand is great, but it should come standard with the $5,000 television. Instead Panasonic tries to sell it to you after the fact for $700! Luckily Amazon had it for $500. The quality of the product is great, and the installation is very easy....

if you want to mount this tv on a table, you need this pedestal stand. extremely well made by competent engineers. i bought this stand for the 2007 65 inch panasonic (TH-65PZ750U) and then the new 2008 panasonic (TH-65PZ85OU) came out ,and i was afraid...

This stand is perfect for this model TV...it is light, but centers the weight of the TV just perfectly. Definitely recommend.
