Philips HE591 Surround Sound Earbuds

Forward sounding presentation that gives music some jump. Affordable. Soundstage depth and width are quite good, although the entire presentation could use some more warmth. Very good with folk, pop, and vocals

Asymmetric cable is so annoying. The top end had some extra energy that might bother some. Weird surround effect that lets you hear the singer before he even opens his mouth. No extra flanges for those of us with asymmetic ear canals. Can't locate the...

If the asymmetric cable design were not so annoying, we would like these headphones a lot more as they are rather comfortable. The overall sound quality is quite good with neutrality across the board, but it really could use a splash of red.

if you dont like the black ones get the white ones... dont complain.

Sound loud enough to block outside noise and sound great for the price. They stay in at the gym except for when doing shrugs but the over ear earbuds fell out easier doing those

trying not to lose the rubber earpieces

Don't buy

Uhhh.... the black color goes with any MP3 player

Horrible design. Earbuds barely sit inside your ear and I had all my friends try it on when I was at a LAN. Sound is very flat and the bass sucks. DO NOT BUY THESE EARBUDS. spend the extra 25 bucks and get a nicer pair

Awesome earbuds!

Love this set of earbuds! Had multiple sets, such as Koss (Foam piece that goes into ear never stays!) and Sony Fontopia (Low volume, flimsy), and none measured up to this. With this set, I can run at half the volume to achieve the same results as 75%...

Comfortable fit, great amplification, good sound quality, inexpensive, trendy, over-the-neck design

Rubber cap on earbuds can fall off quite easily

Very good, high quality looking.

These are very high-quality looking units, first ones I've seen with shiny chrome on them. The sound is pretty good and the ports seems to work because if you cover them up you loose the bass. The fit is pretty good and come with 2 sets of silicone...

Quality looks ; Good sound

Does not completely seal out sound, can be heard by others

Best earbuds for the money ”

These are the greatest "Under $50" option out there.  In fact, I can usually find them for under $20 (at Target, for example).

Not for running

I think they are fantastic for stationary listening, but for running they are terrible. They fall out all the time, and you constantly have to push them back in. I do not suggest them for any type of moving action but overall they have a quality sound.

Love these little guys 2 1/2 years later!

I am so excited to see that Target caries these! I bought a pair at Best Buy almost 3 years ago, and just love them! The sound is excellent and the squishy rubber covers are incredibly cofortable in my ears (the ipod ear buds hurt a lot!) After almost...

Great sound, but not for me

I borrowed these from my mom to go running and they kept falling out. I spent most of my run pushing them back in (which after a while, started really hurting). I had to push really hard to get them to stay, but then they'd just loosen up again. My mom...

Price says it all.

I really like those headphones for the fact that they do not slip out from ears, they stay there when i run or jump. Sound quality is OK, i mean, you get what you paid for. One thing I do not like is the cable, its really stretchy, and if stretched too...
