I've had my pair for over a year and they have served me well for being so inexpensive. The cord definitely generates a lot of noise, which drove me crazy but I found it manageable but running the cord over my shoulders, which protected it from a lot...

Not bad

 

These are a decent pair of headphones, and yes there is some noise interference from the cable but they are a very good durable pair of headphones. These are the best I've used for this cheap, I ran a pair over with a car and they still worked fine....

Too much noise interference

 

These buds pick up vibrations whenever to cord touches anything, putting a lot of static into the ears. Practically useless for any physical activity, or even moving around. Sounds good if you're motionless, but not very useful if you're doing anything...
