Philips SHE9850 In-ear Headphones

Despite the model name, Philips isn't marketing its SHE9850 In-Ear Headphones to women only. These comfortable $99.99 earphones certainly aren't bass-heavy, but they offer a reasonable amount of low-end presence. There's a bit of brightness missing...

Affordable. Commendable low-end performance. Excellent fit.

Not the crispest treble response.

Philips's affordable SHE9850 earphones fit well and offer decent low-end response.

Philips SHE9850

Phillips' most recent entry into the earbud market touts an expert tuned and angled acoustic design, which reportedly provides remarkably “crisp, detailed and transparent” audio with “extended precision highs delivering the ultimate in pure sound.” But...

Very comfortable; good sound quality; nice carrying case; thick cord

Single driver design; lacks noise canceling features

most buyers will find the SHE9850's audio quality and comfort welcome...

Philips SHE-9850

Philips is no stranger to the headphone market, mostly turning out a line of inexpensive earbuds in the $5 to $25 range. Now, the company is stepping up its game with the SHE-9850 In-Ear Headphones, a $100 pair with a sleek and comfy design and good...

The Philips SHE-9850 offer solid sound quality, a sleek design, a comfortable fit, and handy extras.

The Philips SHE-9850's bass response is mushy at times.

The Philips SHE-9850 In-Ear Headphones are an excellent choice for style-conscious listeners who demand comfort and detailed audio response.

Very good sound quality, wide staging & 3D, good isolation, nice design

not so good cord strength, lack of bass.

I bought these to replace the headphones that...

Earbuds might get loose if they get sweaty--but that's an issue with the style, not this model

I bought these to replace the headphones that come with the iPod, after the iPod headphones started crackling in one ear. I chose these for two reasons: First, cnet.com gave them a good review--in fact, the best review of any in-ear headphones under...

"Amazing Value"

I really didn't know that music could song so...

Very loud... Great reproduction of mids and highs. I'm not much of a Bass head so the bass is sufficient for me. I didn't think the music I had could sound so good

Shortish cable. And Tangle-prone but that is offset by the clip. Takes a little time to get adjusted in your ears

I really didn't know that music could song so good. Looks like i have wasted a good 8 months with my Sony X series stock headphones. And the stock MDR-NC20X are not exactly a bad set. But the Philips model takes the X series music to a new level.....
