Philips In-Ear Noise Canceling Headphones SHN2500

Made by Philips, a major producer of electronics, so the R&D is well-intended, or at least well funded. They give plenty of slack, are somewhat comfortable and sound half-decent

The “noise reduction” is actually noise replacement. The noise reduction unit and battery casing are an in-line box that can't be removed

noise canceling.” Maybe if the audio was superb and the comfort wasn't comparable to an earwig boring into the side of my head, the SHM2500 would be passable.

Noise isolating, but not much noise canceling

The Philips SHN2500 earbuds provide a fair degree of external noise isolation as long as you get a tight fit in your ear canal, like most in-ear headphones of similar design. The 3 sizes of soft rubber cuffs provided should ensure a good fit for most ...

Decent sound, good noise isolation

Not much active noise canceling effect

Not worth the price

These head phones are OK at best, the noise canceling feature just adds hiss and it adds extra weight which causes the ear buds to slip out of the ears. But that is not the main reason why I took these back, it was the sound quality, the bass is great,...

sound great!

I decided to invest in a little higher grade headphone because I haven't been happy with my apple ear buds or sony's bottom line series... these sound excellent even without the noise cancelation and to be honest I wonder if that might be a gimmick...

Sound is only so-so

I was looking for a pair of in-ear, noise cancelling headphones for my iPod Classic. Did some research and picked these up. Pretty disappointed with the sound quality --kind of tinny and not much bass. The white noise that some people complained about...

I've been shopping noise canceling headsets for awhile and I'm satisfied with my purchase. These ear buds have comfortable soft rubber inserts in 3 different sizes and sound great on My Zen mp3/video player. I cant normally tolerate in ear headphones...

Great earbuds, good price

I have these Philips Noise Canceling Earbuds for more than a year and they work great. I use them almost every day in the office without any problems and they did a great job at airplanes, too. They have a nice long cord, so you do not tear them out of...
