Plantronics GameCom Pro 1 PC Gaming Hedset

I returned two other sets of headsets before I finally found the Plantronics GameCom Pro.They were the logical choice after I did a lot of research online.I can't comment on the mic but I have heard that it is good, and as far as the headphone quality...

This headset is lightweight, comfortable, and sounds surprisingly good.

They could be sturdier but then they would be heavier. No problems so far.

Great gaming headset. Sturdy, yet light and comfortable with nice adjustable boom microphone that sheds out background noise. Bought several pairs of headsets to evaluate and these were the best for the money. Other nice features include the usb...

Plantronics GameCom Pro 1 PC Gaming Hedset

In regards to the other review posted below, I brought this headset home, plugged it in, opened and changed my settings in TeamSpeak, and opened up BF2 also making sure to change my audio settings, as they do not use your sound card due to being a USB...

Besides sounding excellent, they are extremely comfortable and offer a mic that seems very well balanced.

None thus far.

I'd buy it again

I'm hearing things in WoW and Guild Wars that I never knew were there. These are crystal clear and can get very loud, so be sure to test it before you fire up something that might blow out your eardrums.

Very long cord, clear sound, clear microphone, fits well

the earpieces get warm after a while, very long cord can wrapped around your chair leg, the lack of documentation made it a little frustrating to get them configured

PLANTRONICS GAMECOMPRO1 Circumaural Gaming Stereo Headset-OEM

Great product.

Very comfortable, great range. Particularly good bass and treble, and the mids aren't lacking either

The price. However, I got a deal from the Newegg Newsletter that got me them for 20$ and free shipping

works fine!

the cord attaches to the left earphone, in case this matters. I have a largish head, but they still fit fine.

I bought these to clear up some interference between my graphics card and my on-board sound, and the USB-driven hardware does the trick! Clear sound, clear voice (so I'm told over Vent), and greatly-improved comfort over my old Logitech over-the-ear...

A little plasticy and stiff, but nothing's broken in over 1-year's worth of use

Great Headset

If you lose the windsock you can order new ones for like 5 bucks online. I dnt think these are still in production. I just bought three sets on sale today. I suggest you do the same!

These are awesome headsets. I've used these for 5 years (They were called dsp something before) for gaming and voip. I do audio recording w.a dedicated snd card. These are great because I dont have to adjust the settings on the sound card at all. I...

The snoundcard bulge in the cord could be smaller and gets annoying

Best headset I've ever had

I bought this headset in October of 2006 because I needed a headset with a mic for online gaming and I had heard Plantronics is a good brand. I liked it so much that I ditched my pc speakers and only use this headset for audio on my pc now. I wear it...

Great sound, great mic, very comfortable to wear, even for extended periods (12+ hrs at a time) ; USB means you don't have to have a sound card on your pc or mess with audio drivers 99% of the time ; Volume control and mute button on the cord are very...

After about 3 years the glue holding the pads on the earphones came off, but some superglue fixed them back on without any problems ; The only other issue I can recall having is with switching the device over to work in a VM, the audio was very choppy,...

I see that somebody posted that this headset will not work with vista and windows 7 drivers. COMPLETELY FALSE. I have extensively used it with windows vista and windows 7 (even windows 7 beta back in the day) and had 1 issue through the entire thing I...

Honestly I have had this headset for around 3-5 years. My first one lasted 2 years and then I went and purchased a new one. It is comfortable has amazing sound the microphone works great and it is extremely durable

Pretty much none other than the cord twists up which will be found with any headset ever

Pretty Good Pair of Headphones

I received them as a gift and they haven't let me down yet. The microphone foam piece fell off repeatedly till I just tossed it.

Very good quality of headphones. I have used these for over 2 years and they still work perfectly. I used them on both XP SP3 and Win7 without an issue. I can't say if the processor chip is amazing for throughput or if the Hz range is to narrow...I...

This USB device was reported by win7 power report as not allowing the computer to go into hibernate. Haven't looked into a work around, but atm I just unplug them if I ever need to hibernate
