Polk Audio UltraFocus 6000

The Polk Audio UltraFocus 6000 earphone pair delivers excellent noise cancellation, but its bulky battery compartment and audio performance quirks are drawbacks.

Powerful audio performance with deep bass, no distortion at top volumes. Secure in-ear fit. Comes with a multitude of eartips in varying shapes and sizes

Doesn't output audio in passive mode. Audio can sound muffled on certain tracks. External battery and NC circuitry compartment is bulky, awkward. Uses AAA battery, not a rechargeable options

Polk Audio UltraFocus 6000 review: Polk Audio UltraFocus 6000

Polk Audio may be best known for its speakers, but its new UltraFocus Series of headphones include active (battery-powered) and passive noise-canceling features.

The Polk Audio UltraFocus 6000 active noise-canceling in-ear headphones feature a big, powerful sound while maintaining a comfortable fit.

The cable lacks a microphone and smartphone controls, and playback requires power, so the music dies along with your battery.

The Polk Audio UltraFocus 6000's noise-canceling powers are just average for an in-ear NC design, but anyone looking for midprice headphones with lots of bass and detail will love this set.
