Pyle PHPNC45 Headphones are junk

I purchased 4 of these headphones and when I first got them they sounded and worked well

After less then 4 months of light use 3 of them have quit working and the last one working has never been used. When I contacted pyle for repairs I found that it would cost as much for shipping and repairs as I originally paid for them. I would never...

broke

I have not yet plugged the headset in and an earpiece has come off twice. The screws are so small, I'll have to use crazy glue and attach the ear pieces permanently.

Quality and Customer Service Problems

I can only provide a lukewarm recommendation on these headphones and a failing grade for customer service from Pyle. I purchased a set of Pyle Noise Cancelling Headphones (PHPNC45) in May 2012 and used them occasionally for approximately 3-4 months....

Decent Quality Sound, Decent Noise Reduction

I got these for travel by airplane, and in the slim hope that I might be able to use them while mowing the lawn. I already have a pair of Sennheiser earphones (HD 202) that I purchased for around $25 on Amazon a couple years ago. So my main comparison...

I work in a very nosiy work area and need the noise cancelling. When I read the insert when I got it, I discover it was really designed for subway or plane use. It did not preform as I expected. It could not even block 50% of the noise. The earphones...

Bulky and cheap

I bought a pair of these a year ago, I have taken them on a couple of trips with me. They don't do a very good job cancelling noise on planes. Not only that, I found them to be heavy and uncomfortable after wearing them to watch a movie. The sound is...

An Excellent Bargain

I am only able to compare these to a Bose noise cancelling headset I borrowed once, so I have no idea if there are better deals, but these work great for me. The noise cancelling was not up to the BOSE standard but at a 1/6 th the cost I will settle...

Great 'phones for a great price

I bought 2 pair of these headphones for a transatlantic trip my wife and I were preparing to make. On the plane they were perfect: They reduced the roar of the flight to a pretty quiet hum, and if you're someone who can sleep on a jet (I'm not,...

Did not work for me

I bought these based on the positive reviews they got here on Amazon, but they did not work for me at all. I could not discern any difference in the noise level when i was wearing them compared to when I was not wearing them. In addition, they were...
