Good one before it broke

I know probably Rosewill will no longer sell this mode. But I still want to write this review, just because the only time I really really needed to use this headset, it failed on me.

Bought it for under 10 dollars. General performance is good

It broke this morning (the place connects one of the ear pads and the bridge got broken), after about 14 months of light use (I used it for a couple of hours for about once every week)

Decent for the price

Decent sounding, standard connectors, good fit. And cheap ; Wasn't looking for something extravagant for voicechat so this fit the bill

Ear pad material makes long term use uncomfortable ; Somewhat prone to failiure, dropped it on bed from about a foot and the plastic headband cracked and snapped in a few spots. One of the speakers detatched and rattles around inside the earmuff bit ;...

Good for a little bit...

Does its job. Good headset for a band-aid headset until you get a good one

Hurt after a few hours of gaming. After about one month it started falling apart while I was gaming and just decided to break it in half because the headset was just bad

Pretty much what I expected for the price.

Cheap! Works fine for your basic headset needs

Sound and build quality aren't amazing. The wire was damages easily during normal usage which caused the sound and mic to eventually stop working

Rosewill RH-40C 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Multimedia Stereo Headset

For the price, this headset is the best in its class. But that's not saying much. Still if money is an issue and you're looking for a temporary solution or for seldom use, this headset will suffice.

This headset is available for rock bottom prices ; Decent sound quality ; Acceptable mic performance

This headset is cheap. Plastic is flimsy, adjusting feels like it might break at anytime

Terrible Headphones

I have always used the cheapest headphones I can find and am almost always satisfied with the sound quality they provide, so I am not just being picky when I say the sound quality is bad. I have purchased numerous Rosewill products in the past and...

They are cheap. I got them with a two dollar "promo code" discount. Shipping was excellent, I received them in two days (thanks Newegg)

Where to begin... these are the worst headphones I have ever worn, by a long margin ; 1. Sound quality is awful. Heavily weighted to high frequencies. Very little mid-tones and non-existent low-tones. Everything is just a big loud bunch of hissing...

Rosewill RH-40C 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Multimedia Stereo Headset

I'm sure the ear aching problem is synonymous with over-ear headphones. And the plastic is a little rigid. Nothing bad. I'll be replacing these when they break with the same pair.

Everything you'd need out of a microphone headset ; VERY cheap

Extended use makes my ears ache

Cost of replacing this headset will not be worth it. Strike two in the headset department.

Straight out of the clam shell the microphone does not work
