It's no surprise that there's an appetite for ‘low-cost-but-good' hi-fi equipment – not everyone has hundreds of pounds to lavish on products that do the same thing that others do for a fraction of the cost. This holds true on the music-making side too...

Samson SR950 Studio Reference Headphones - Excellent Value

 

Just got these, and right off the bat they're very impressive. Full, clear sound, plenty of energy & balance throughout the entire audio spectrum, with slight humps in the 20 - 100 Hz region (+3.5 dB) and from 6 KHz on up to 14 KHz (also around +3.5...

Very clean, natural highs, mids have great presence, bass & sub-bass have full, real depth. Responds well to EQ. Inexpensive

Homely as sin (but I didn't buy them for looks)
