Sennheiser Amperior headphones review

Vocals came through effortlessly and without blending into the mid-tones, while the more base-y sounds popped in almost arrogantly. In short you will be more than happy with the way these headphones deliver your favourite tracks to you.

The Sennheiser Amperior is far from the cheapest set over-ear cans on the market, but what you get for your money is superb audio quality and a very stylish set of headphones. Definitely worth considering if you want to get excellent audio performance...

About as fun as headphones can get, we've just gone and forgot about Dre.

Superb bass slam, impact and separation ; Excellent detail

Some rivals more comfortable

Noise isolation is up there with the better on-ear headphones. Pleather pads would likely fare slightly better - as they are less porous - but in action, the Sennheiser Amperior fared pretty well on trains. They provide a good level of outer world...

Sennheiser Amperior review

The Sennheiser Amperior headphones offer great sound quality and are comfortable to wear. The build quality feels a little lacking, but if you've got the cash, these are a decent set of cans.

Good sound quality ; Comfortable to wear ; In-line remote

Build quality not too impressive ; Low-end may not satisfy bass addicts ; Expensive

The Sennheiser Amperiors aren't the best headphones I've ever tested, and at £260 I wish the build quality felt a bit more robust. Still, these are comfortable cans that offer decent sound quality. Before buying, also examine the excellent Bowers and...

Sennheiser Amperior headphones

The Sennheiser Amperior headphones are inspired by DJ's and designed for the streets. How do we know this? Because the box they came in is covered with that slogan. However, it's a little unfair to pigeonhole these cans to hoodie wearing music...

Great audio performance; Stylish looks; robust design

Expensive; slight discomfort after an hour’s use

Quite possibly the best in the price range.

Consistently great craftsmanship and quality.

Quite possibly the best set of professional headphones you could own for your home studio. I still have an awesome pair of Sennheiser headphones I purchased in 1985.. I used them on almost all of my productions and mixes. Here's your chance to own an...
