Sennheiser Circumaural (Silver)

The $30 Sennheiser HD 201 headphones are a great value aimed at the infrequent user who's simply looking to upgrade from poor-quality stock earphones without spending a ton. The HD 201s are far from audiophile quality and lack the low-end oomph of...

The Sennheiser HD 201 headphones are very comfortable to wear, and the tough construction will last over long-term use. Noise leakage is at a minimum, and the overall sound is balanced as well.

The HD 201 headphones' cable may be too long for portable use, and the set doesn't come with a protective pouch for storage. Natural bass is lacking, and the maximum volume output is lower than most aftermarket headphones in its category.

Though the ultra-affordable Sennheiser HD 201 headphones provide natural sound and capable performance, commuters may find the low volume output an issue when listening to music in highly trafficked environments.

"Excellent value and good sound, but far from high-end"

I bought these a year ago and the upgrade was worth it from $20 headphones. The sound quality may sound bad at first, but when you add volume the bass gets richer and the highs and lows sound better. Isolates noise very well in a train, but the noise...

-Comfortable to wear

-Lack of bass, especially at lower volume

"Sennheiser HD201. Can't beat the quality for the money."

I wouldn't hesitate to buy these headphones. I would not pay $50 for them, which is the suggested retail. $15 or $20 I would. They work fine. I can't understand some of the criticisms. I knew I was getting a long cord when I purchased them. If I was...

They fit my ear very snug. They encompass my ear which I like. I can hear instruments I never heard before listening to music. I had an old pair of Logitech headphones.

My own ignorance. I can't figure out what to do with the enclosed 6.3mm stereo jack adapter. It doesn't fit anything I have electronically. The cord is very long, but I like it long.

"Comfortable, working headphones for their price range"

I was planning to get a pair of high quality noise canceling headphones when they were released, but I had to go on a trip that required me to sit on an airplane for over ten hours before the headphones I was going to buy came out. I needed some...

Comfortable, durable headphones, especially for thirty dollars

Sound isn't great, cord way too long

"Under rated"

Bass? True to source - not enhanced (no added boom).

True to source

3 meter Cord is a missed blessing.

"They do the job"

I'm a wannabe audiophile. I love my music, but i dont quite know what i'm talking about so bear with me. My dad bought me these for christmas and they've sufficed since pretty well actually. In the past two years i've so-far gone through 17 pairs of...

They're comfortable, they fit around your neck very well, rather sturdy, handles high volumes well, fits most people, good sound for the most part

the cord is long, not portable at all, they feel flimsy, the levels are even but there's not much of an oomph from the bass

"Awesome headphones at a great price!"

I highly recommend this to anyone who just wants to listen to music. Great bargain for the money, I actually prefer these over my friends 300 dollar headphones. Some noises like cymbals and guitar rifts are weak but if you listen to hip-hop or pop...

Sounds nice, very comfortable, cheep.

cord is longer than necessary, i could live with a little more bass (you can fix that with your EQ)
