Great sound, BAD design

This is the second pair of Sennheiser CX 281s that I have bought in the past year. The first pair, I bought a year ago in an airport for $70. After about 4 months, the sound started crackling in one of the earbuds. The problem was located in the...

sennheiser earbuds

having used Snnheiser head phones in a studio setting I expected a bit more from these buds. My last earbuds were Sony and I probably should have replaced them with what I had. These buds are uncomfortable and the sound doesnt compare to my last Sony's.

Microphone too low....

The mic on this device is almost a foot from the earpiece making it a poor choice for use with calls, but the speake audio is great.

I bought these to replace an older pair of Sony EX bass in-ear buds that i loved. Those sony ear buds had great bass and decent highs. Tended more bass heavy but that is what i like. I got these and was disapointed. I wasn't expecting the same bass...

Great sound as expected!

I've always have been a fan of Sennheisers. These were a great value without overspending. The high frequency sounds can be distinctly heard and, considering they're earbuds, I could still get a good quality of bass along without over saturation like...
