Sennheiser CX300

The CX300 marks Sennheiser's first attempt at the in-ear, canalphone-type headphone that has made Shure and Etymotic famous. While most canalphones are touted as being noise-reducing, the CX300 takes a different angle, creating a hybrid ear...

Custom sleeves for proper fitting; good sound quality

Poor sound isolation; fragile feeling

clocking in at half the price, and with unmatched comfort, the CX300 comes out on top for value.

Sennheiser CX-300

Type: In-Canal, Sealing: Open, Noise-canceling: Passive, Impedance: 16 ohms, Maximum SPL: 112 dB, Weight: 0.3 oz

Strong bass. Good detail. Compact and lightweight.

Silicone caps are easy to lose. No carrying pouch.

If you want thumping bass with minimal mud, you'll love these compact in-ear headphones.

Sennheiser CX 300 (Silver)

The Sennheiser CX 300's construction quality exceeds that of most earbuds, and the soft and flexible Y cable is a good length at 49 inches. The CX 300--available in black or silver finishes--doesn't come with the usual accessories, such as a travel...

The Sennheiser CX 300 offers solid sound quality, significant isolation from outside sounds, and an ultralightweight design, as well as three sizes of silicon ear tips to ensure a perfect fit--all for well less than $100.

The Sennheiser CX 300 doesn't come with a travel pouch or any other accessories.

If you're looking for an affordable, decent-sounding pair of earbuds, start with the Sennheiser CX 300. Sennheiser's first in-ear design sounds like a winner to us.

Sennheiser CX300

Punchy earphones that produce noteworthy mids and highs but fall short in gratifying bass.

Although the noise isolation on the Sennheiser CX300 is pretty good, the overall sound quality is where the headphones shine. The bass is not over the top but the clarity in the mids and highs make up for that. In order to get a favorable bass...

The cord on the Sennheiser CX300 is asymmetrical, meaning that the length on the earbuds is not even. One side is 53 inches in length while the other is 60 inches. If you don’t mind the wire slack on one side, then it's forgivable. Also, for the price,...

Sennheiser CX 300 earbud headphones Review and Prices

The Sennheiser CX 300 headphones aren't your typical earbuds. These are designed to fit gently but snugly inside the opening to the ear canal, which accomplishes two things. First, while it doesn't cancel out ambient sound, it does significantly reduce...

"Don't last long"

Relatively cheap.

I've had two pairs of these now. They are fine for about 6 months, then one side seems to cut out. I will not buy a third pair.

Good Bass(U will feel bass only when U keep in both the ear )Good Mid's,Low's and high's and matches mostly for audiophiles and joggers

the Ear buds though have a good quality in noise reduction they are of bad material which attracts all the sweat around your wash them at least once for couple of months ..rubbing sound is a bit of problem but when I sit in bus its awful

Great sound quality. No distortion, in my experience

Asymmetrical cord is great on a plane, but can be a hassle in certain situations

"Very good buds for the price."

First thing I noticed when I put them on was ...

Price - $15 off of ebay (NIB). Sound - good bass, mids and highs. Good fit, can listen for 1-2hrs with no pain. Seals off all sound

My wife stays mad at me because I can't hear her when I'm wearing them. These things really seal of what's going on around you. Not made for jogging in traffic. Some cord noise

"Excellent sound"

I have tried several in ear headphones over t...

I've had these now for about 2yrs and used them on various mp3 players and mobile phones, I consider Cx 300 a reference when buying new headphones

The only slight rub here is non equal cable devision to the ears, leads that have a priority to the left need to be clipped to clothing to allow reasonable slack otherwise the left speaker falls out, just a bit of a nuisance really
