Sennheiser CX 475 review

Really good and really cheap: the Sennheiser CX475 earphones mean you have no excuse for not getting better sound out of your smartphone

Solid sound Seriously cheap Comfortable fit

Could do with a little more weight behind each punch Basic design

Not the most hard-hitting sound, but these punch well above their tiny price tag

Good Value at Sale Price

These are nice quality ear buds and I am pleased with the product at the sale price. They are lightweight and fairly effective at blocking outside noise. Sound quality is good

There are better sounding and more durable in-ear headphones available at the MSRP of this product. NewEgg's sale pricing made these a good value

Poor Construction

Good sound isolation

It lasted a month or so before the right side started going out, now it doesn't work at all. My cheap, crummy, target buds are still going strong a year later, but I was very disappointed with the life I got out of these ; Was $20 on newegg, normal...

Pretty Fantastic

I like them. These have been my main headphones for away-from-desk adventures. I do like my Grados more, but those stay at my desk.

Sound quality : Comparing these to my Grado SR125s, they sound pretty fantastic! The Grado's are $150 headphones, and they do sound a bit better, but these little buds are awfully impressive for $20 ; Small and Light : Some people do not like earbuds,...

Maybe a little too much bass? : The high end of these headphones is very clean and crisp, but sometimes they enhance the low end just a bit too much. Sounds a little like someone has their active subwoofer set a little too high. Good for dance music...

Bass? what Bass

Previously I have bought the Sennheiser CX200's a couple of times when they are on sale. I was very impressed with the CX 200's tone quality especially for the price. I used to use the Etymotic Research ER6i Isolater earphones which are like wearing...

Cheap Price

Tinny sound NO Bass. Possibly a bad set. Not worth sending back

Great earbuds!

Great sound from such tiny earbuds! Bass is impressive, and sound clarity rocks! Noise cancellation is very nice too - blocks out all the unwanted office noise during the day

Tasty Buds

Bought these to replace my Bose IE1, which slowly lost all response in the left bud. Decided I wasn't going to pay another Benjamin for earbuds that only last a couple of years, so found these Sennheisers on a Shell Shocker deal for less than a...

Sound is good, especially at the sale price point ; More efficient than other hi-fi earbuds (louder at same volume level) ; Seals external noise far better than my old Bose earbuds ; If you can score a sale price, very economical

All cord contact causes audible noise at the buds ; Sliding bud retainer relatively hard to move down the cord
