Good for the bucks

Would definitely sound better than other 20-buck grade headphones. Comes with a classy carrying pouch too.

Decent sound quality, built strong

Stethoscope effect (touching wire makes noise)

very nice

Surprising sound with the correct ends. They come with three size ends I switched to the larger pair and with the better seal came a noticeable improvement in the sound. Went from soso to super.

Disappointed

After buying the CX200 from Newegg, I was blown away by the sound and decided to pick up the CX485 thinking it would be that much better. Unfortunately, I find the CX485 to be worse. HOWEVER, that might be because these just don't fit me well. I...

Great price ($20 on sale), carrying pouch, in-line volume control comes in handy

Sound isn't GREAT (might be fitting issue, though), feels "cheaper" than my CX200

Not Really For Small Ears

Pretty good sound for 20 bucks. Too bad they didn't fit me.

Once you get a good seal the sound is pretty good. Not nearly as good as Sennheiser 280 Pros, but pretty decent for 20 bucks

I bought these because I read they were good for small ears. They fit into my ear canals just fine but the earphone frame (The gold part) is way too thick and presses against the cartilage of my ear. It's too painful to wear these for me for longer...

Decent Not Perfect

If these are not on sale, don't buy. Get the CX200 when they are on sale for $15 and you won't have all the cord issues. The CX200 would get 5 eggs from me. Sometimes simpler is better.

Very good, rich, high quality sound. Noise cancelling is excellent if using the proper bud size. Using the proper size bud is key for great sound and noise cancelling. I bought a set of the CX200 for my wife a year or so ago and she got tired of me...

As other users have stated, there is noise from the cords when rustled or bumped. It almost sounds like you are wearing a stethescope. This could have been avoided if Sennheiser had just included the 1 cent adjustable sliding connector for the left and...

just waiting to see how long the wiring earbuds in general are known to break

sound clarity ; every single sound is very clear ; can tell every single instrument apart from each other something i was never able to hear with other headphones ; best lows ive ever heard in earbuds

none so far does what its supposed to

Solid Earbuds

I used the included adapter for 2 headphones to compare the cx200s and these at the same time. The noise canceling is about equal and the cx200s might have slightly better bass, but the mids and highs on the cx485 are better - much more clear. 475 also...

Very clean sound - Good bass, mids, and highs ; Good noise blocking ; Comfortable fit - I've been wearing them for about 2 hours now and still have no discomfort. When I pull on them gently they stay in my ears well ; The speaker housing is a hard...

Some noise when bumping the cables ; Thin cable after it splits for each earbud - this scares me because it could break easily ; Treble can be a bit too high on some tracks ; Maybe not a con for some, but the in-cable volume control is unnecessary for...
