Sennheiser HD 218 Headphones

Great bass, great fit

This headphone set fits your head perfectly. The headphones are quite cheap when compared to other contemporary models. These headphones provide awesome bass sound

The mid and treble ranges of this headphone set is not as good as it could have been. The headband can be a bit too tight for the preferences of some users

This headphone set is a great device to use in a situation when you want a headphone that can be acquired for a low price. It is also designed to provide great sound quality while providing the utmost comfort for users. These headphones are designed...

Sennheiser CX 550 Style II review

Both share a noise-isolating design aided by a selection of supplied ear adaptors in two types and five different sizes. As well as keeping out much of the daily din of travel, this helps ensure the music remains focused and clear even at reduced...

At this price, the Sennheiser CX 550 Style II set the standard for in-ear headphones. Bright and rich in detail, the personalised fit helps keep distractions to a minimum. Having worn them for weeks, in all sorts of environments, they do a commendable...

Sennheiser Headphones : Sennhiser HD 218

Not everybody can get on with the ear-bud style of headset. If you fall into this category then a Sennheiser headset is a viable option.

As a cricket fan who likes to watch the game while listening to the radio commentary, I decided that my annual visit to the Oval cricket ground for the final test (England vs. Australia this year) would make a good test for this headset. Surrounded by...

Sennheiser - Soundproof Closed Headphones (HD 218)

(My review was done after removing the foam from under the pleather padding, known as the "Asteroid Mod" on Head-fi) - Many reviewers either love or hate these, and I'm assuming this is a fit issue. Before I removed the foam, There were hardly any...

Light/portable ; Comfortable, they sit on your ears (can listen to these for hours) ; One-sided cable

Flimsy/cheap design ; A bit harder to power than average portable headphones ; Do not fold up

Sennheiser - Soundproof Closed Headphones (HD 218)

I wasn't expecting a ton out of these, they happened to be on sale so I decided to pull the trigger. My immediate thoughts are, these are the lowest tier for a Sennheiser product. That being said, they're not awful the sound quality is decent, they...

Cheap, mediocre sound, somewhat fashionable and compact

The cord is extremely cheaply made, the entire product is kind of spotty but definitely usable

cheap headphones

My pair was defective, but I am not surprised given the general low quality of this set. Even at $30, I expected more.

more bass than expected ; decent sound for the price ; ok at insulating against outside noise

very cheap plastic frame ; headphone jack was crooked and the plastic sheath seemed poorly made ; wire was too short for my purpose

Flimsy for Sennheiser gear

The pair of HD-280 I have owned (and loved) for years was finally falling apart so I bought these as a lower-cost and more portable option. The sound quality is decent but the flimsy & sloppy construction doesn't look like it will hold up to much wear...

Decent sound quality for price ; Good bass response. I listen to music that has a fair amount of bass (hip-hop, drum n bass, house) and I got a good bass response ; comfort level = OK. Earcups are padded in leather/leatherette

Earcups are a bit small -- its hard to tell the earcup size from picture -- these are much smaller than HD280 or HD202 Earcups ; As such, they don't fully cover my ears and don't filter background noise as well as the better models ; cheaply...

Sennheiser - Soundproof Closed Headphones (HD 218)

Good sound quality for the price. No connector damage on the headphone jack even after 2 months of use (which means its actually still usable)

Not much
