not worth MSRP

Price was around $80 with a free Ipod Shuffle when I ordered it from newegg. headphones looked better in pics, but are constructed somewhat on the cheap end, has a flimsy feel to it. Sound is below average for something in this price range disregarding...

light weight

sound not too great

Great sound, but uncomfortable

Worth the $50 I paid on sale. Would have been more disappointed had I paid more.

Great sound balance. Strong bass without being muddled or overpowering the true intended recorded sound

Ear cups are really narrow and the headband is tight, although this has loosened over time. (I need to try the trick of stretching them over my PC overnight.) Cord is WAY too long! When walking around with them on, the wire trips me up or gets caught...

Great full sound, Compared with Bose

The great thing about these headphones is that it is built for easy part replacement. If you were to cut your wires, you can get a cheap replacement wire and just plug them back in. Other people complain about the strength of the frame. I'm not sure...

The sound quality is GREAT on these. I got these about 3 months ago and are still my favorite headphones out of the 6 others i have (2 over ear, 4 earbuds, 1 behind neck). I've listened to all kinds of music on these, anything from rock, to techno, and...

The cord length is like 9 feet long or something. I use these when I walk around a lot and I have to keep the cord in a twist tie. Not sure why they did that

Great sound quality, horrible build quality.

When I bought these they were much cheaper.

Excellent sound, only the best from sennheiser. Great for your every day listener or for light use. Long wire makes it possible to move around while using. Very comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time. Headphones easily detach from the...

I'm a mobile DJ, so I used these like I would a set of AKG's or similar. Cheaply made, wires came out from the base of the headphones. I've taken a soldering iron to it and made them 100x more resilient. Would have been a five star product if it were...

Uncomfortable? What?

Got these for $40, hehe.

I don't see what all the complaints are about... anyone who says these are tight must have some pretty big heads, it fits me nicely. Very snug, with some room to spare for my big-headed friend. Sound quality is great, can't get any better for the money

Plastic feels a little cheap, though I got it for a really good deal so I can't complain

A simple fix to ease the squeeze

If you keep the headphones stretched out over your PC case overnight, it won't squeeze your head as much the next day. Doesn't look like they'll snap in two and now they rest on my ears instead of pinching them. Much more comfortable now.

Standard clear sound if anything. nice long cord for home, office, and studio use

Initial squeeze of the headband is very uncomfortable*. Not good for live instrument recording while overdubbing because of open-air design. Microphones will pick up playback sounds and you'll have trouble hearing the playback as well if you need to...

If you're a pointy eared Vulcan with a really small head you will love these!

I only lost $50 ; Sound wasn't too bad

These are the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever bought. It blows my mind that they had a 5 star rating. Apparently these were custom made for Vulcans, with their narrow oval shape my normal size ears just don't fit ; Add in the way these clamp...

Better Value Elsewhere

Paid $50, worth $30.

Rugged, decent accuracy, good strong (but not too heavy) cord

Very uncomfortable for extended use (more than an hour). Not even close in comfort or sound to the Bose Triports
