The headphones in Sennheiser's HD 400 series come with stylish designs and different sound signatures.

Ergonomic design, good build quality

Poor high extensions, Unrefined mids and bass, slight distortion at loud volume

Sennheiser HD418 headphones

These budget, bass-driven headphones are a good fit for your laptop or MP3 player

Interesting motif, comfortable ear-pads, sturdy build quality

Overly warm sound, muffled treble

Sennheiser's HD418 headphones are sturdy and (arguably) stylish. Reasonably cheap for full-size closed headphones, they'd make a good accompaniment to a commuter's laptop or MP3 player as long as sound quality isn't a huge concern.

Sennheiser HD 418

The 'over the ear ' design blocks out most outside noise, and the headphones are light. I like the sound quality and the value for money must be a big plus. Far, far better all round that 'in-ear' equipment

Not much that is 'bad'. I suppose that studio quality 'phones could be an attraction; but at what price
