Sennheiser HD 438

Popular manufacturer Sennheiser just unleashed a trio of cushy cans under its HD headphone line. Designed for lounging around the house or for use on the go, the HD 428 focuses on lower frequencies and powerful bass, while the top-of-the-line HD 448...

Snug ; comfortable fit; very good sound quality; has some noise-canceling qualities

Fragile build; ugly design; no volume controls or other frills

The Sennheiser HD 438 headphones aren't all that pretty, but certainly pack a punch.

If all your looking for is the quality of sound go for these. However they arent something youll be walking around with all day. The cord is also a bit heavy and long so you might have to hide it somewhere. Thats all i got to say.Pros: Wonderful sound...

I have been using this pair of HD 280′s for almost 2 years, and let me tell you, once these break, get stolen, or get caught in a fire, I will replace them the same day. After a 3 month fight for the best headphones, I came across these beauties and...

Sennheiser HD 438 headphones

Sennheiser's HD 438 headphones are designed for listening to music and PC gaming. They're reasonably priced and sturdily built. Though they don't offe...

Reasonable build quality, good mid-bass extension

Gaudy ear-cup finish, slightly awkward design

Sennheiser's HD 438 is a pair of sturdily built PC gaming headphones with good bass extension — useful for action gaming and some types of music. If you can get past the awkward headband and ugly ear-cups, these headphones are a good buy.

Sennheiser HD 438

The HD 438 just falls shy of a fully immersive audio experience, but these mid-range headphones are very comfortable for the home listener.

Incredibly comfortable ; Good treble and vocal response ; Different cable lengths included

No volume control on headphone lead ; Bass isn't as heavy or deep as stated on the box

The HD 438 comes with a two-year warranty and offer a pretty good listening experience for AU$149.95 as long as you don't expect heavy bass response.

Review: Sennheiser HD 438

Can this comfortable headphone's versatility and audio performance be nicely matched by its price tag?

Comfortable; two cord sets included; very good audio quality

Bass slightly muddy; requires good amplifier for best audio quality

The HD 438 doesn't offer stellar performance, but these midrange headphones are rather versatile, thanks to interchangeable cables.
