Sennheiser 437

Another budget headphone from Sennheiser that seem pretty good for the average user.

Good bass, Minimal strain on portable media player's batteries, Cord take-up

Leaks audio, poor high frequency response

Sennheiser's mid-range headphones; can they maintain performance at a lower price?

Accurate reproduction of highs and mids, Comfortable to wear, Cord take-up

Leaks audio, Weak bass response

Not worth the money.

If intense bass, aching ears after 30 minutes, and decent quality headphones for an expensive price is what you want, here they are. Invest into some BOSE, they won't disappoint you for the price.

Sound quality is great to say the least

Bass is way to high in these for a normal level, was even doing a blind test on them and one of my friends even said "Wow, my ears hurt from those, how can you stand that bass ; Comfortable? Lol.. no leave these things on your ears for more than 20...

Good bang for the buck

These headphones do not keep noise out and I was aware of that when I bought these headphones. I bought these headphones instead of noise isolating headphones for safety reasons. If there is a loud sound like a smoke detector or the the water kettle...

Great sound ; The cable is actually detachable from the headphones

Break in time is fairly significant, about a month or so. The whole thing used to vibrate abnormally for a particular low frequency tone, but now it performs brilliantly

Best I'VE ever heard

Listen up, literally! You JUST don't know unless you can compare a few sets, and I bought a few sets including this one, the Sony "monitoring headphones" MDR-V150 (Bassy and flat in mids and highs), the "Ice tech Vibe" (Electronically rumble with AAA...

Durable, comfortable, long cord, very good bass handling (tight and punchy) with crisp mids and highs

Wasn't free? (I always thought that was silly (sic) and here I said it)

very comfy!

Overall, these are so cheap that I don't mind them only lasting 2 years. Amazing headphones for the price.

These headphones sound great and don't make my ears hurt during prolonged used. Every other headphone I've used has made my ears hurt

Only con is that I'm now on my 3rd pair in the past 4 years. These seem to last about 2 years max and then the wires get stretched too much and break

SENNHEISER HD435 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Supra-aural Headphone

Buy Buy Buy BUy worth it , even worth it more if your on a budget. Sounds clear , you hear everthing , the fine drum detail sound. Its comfortable (very)and it doesnt hurt your ears after long period of using them, it designed that way

ah... they need to make sound cards now :p

Good headphones

NewEgg has these headphones at an INCREDIBLE value, if you buy them anywhere else, you'll regret it (I'm dumb...) If you like hard driving bass from rap/hip-hop/hardcore techno/rock, these are your cans! Go to the headphone dot com site for reviews,...

INTENSE bass. These fellas rumble. Their low impedance and bass boost are intended to be used straight out of a low powered source such as an iPod or laptop. It gets the job done, and I love the open design. Very comfortable, I've owned...

Ever so slightly distorted mids because of the intense bass boost, but it's barely noticeable. These things have too much bass at times. At 20hz, they have almost maximum response. That's just not natural (20hz is so low it's barely audible at all)....

SENNHEISER HD457 3.5mm Connector Circumaural stereo headphones

For the price, you can't beat them...

Amazing sound, very comfy, worked great for my uses, pretty durable, I wore them around campus for 2 years before they crapped out on me

The left ear stopped working (after 2 years)

Great, Comfrotable, and Affordable!

I originally had a pair of Sxxy headphones that I used b/c they were built like a rock (plastic with a solid design). But the sound was just lacking in bass. So I bought these headphones for their price and look initially. I must say, these headphones...
