Sennheiser IE 8i

The Sennheiser IE 8is are a newer pair of in-ears that have a few interesting features. With eight different sets of sleeves and optional ear-loops, it's not hard to see that Sennheiser really tries to make the listening experience a comfortable one....

Solid distortion performance ; Nice, even tracking

Not the greatest isolation ; Some quirks in frequency response

The Sennheiser IE 8is are a good set of in-line earbuds, albeit with a high price tag. While you’re likely to find cheaper headphones with comparable audio performance, the detachable ear buds allow for easy maintenance.

You can find similar performance for less, but easy maintenance means they'll last

The best sound quality possible that you could get from a pair of in-ear earphones are given bye these earphones. The range of accessories provided along with these earphones are very useful. Sound-isolation means that external noise is removed

Disappointed

I purchased a pair of IE8 a couple of years ago. They sounded amazing, but about a year and a half into use, the right bud started losing volume. The problem became progressively worse, so they were sent in for repair under the two year warranty....

I LOVE SENNHEISER!!

You can read all the other reviews about the sound and performance, but just save your time and buy these! They are some of the best universal IEM's out there, better than anything I've heard. Almost up to par with some of my custom IEM's!!
