Not the quality I would have expected from Sennheiser..should work better with plasma TV.

A company like Sennheiser should have the knowledge to make products that cost as much as the IS410 adaptable tp ALL types of televisions being made today without exception.

The best

We have two of these and enjoy them so much. We particularly get greater pleasure from musical programs, but I can now also hear every word of British imported dramas. We also purchased a set for our daughter. We have varying degrees of hearing loss...

Good quality sound, no background noise

This is a good quality headphone. The sound is clear and helped my father to watch TV again, as he is 88 yrs old and almost entirely deaf.

Love It!!!! Far better than TV Ears!

I love this product having recently found the brand after searching for an alternative to TV Ears after buying and returning 4 sets of TV Ears 3.0 which all had very poor sound quality. This headset turns on and off by putting them on or taking them...

good and simple

This thing saves our marriage. My husband doesn\'t hear well and I hear VERY well. Before this amplifier it was impossible for us to watch TV together---either he couldn\'t hear anything or I wound up with a headache. Now we can share the couch.

Sennheiser IS410

This Headphone System is IR technology, which requires line of sight connectivity. The decription on the site didn't make this clear. I returned the device ans bought the Sennheise A200 which is an amplifier, and it works perfectly.

The IS 410 is an ultra-lightweight infrared stereo stethoset headphones system, enabling the user to individually adapt the volume of TV sets, radios and hi-fi systems to his or her hearing ability. The transmitter is easily connected to this equipment and transmits crystal-clear audio within a room. Operation of the stethoset headphone system is easy and intuitive, with the headphones switching on automatically when they are put on. Balance and volume are set directly on the stethoset headphones. The transmitter features a compression button for further enhancing speech intelligibility.
