Sennheiser OMX 52 Street

Sennheiser's over-the-ear headphones combine comfort and quality at an affordable price.

Sennheiser OMX 52 Street

Unfortunately, the OMX 53's over-the-ear design is its downfall. Indeed, this style of headphone (also known as "open") rarely works well. Sure, we can make an exception for the Reference Series by Grado, but those are $600 or more--and considered by...

Speakers are high quality; could increase your bicep size/arm strength (see review); will stay in place.

Poor design; excellent speakers are too loose to achieve optimal sound balance.

These disappointing ear phones from Sennheiser incorporate an over-the-ear design that hinders the sound delivery of the otherwise excellent speakers.

"This is a great earphone."

This is a good pair of earphone. The sound quality is really good but as mentioned in the editor's review, it is a bit loose so you cant get the best sound, of what it is capable of ( I pressed it into my ears and i could feel the diff in the bass !!)....

Light weight, very comfortable, good sound quality and good design.

A bit loose, cause a bit of trouble if you wear specs.

"Whats with the negativity?"

I cannot believe this received a 3.7! These headphones are fantastic, as always from Sennheiser. I got them for my bike rides and they're perfect. The over the ear design may not suite everyone - but if you've had no problem in the past, then go for...

Really good sound and very light - quite comfortable

May not suite all ear shapes - needs adjusting from time to time

SENNHEISER OMX52 Street 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Headphone

Not durable or comfortable. Look elsewhere.

pretty good sound quality. sennheiser

The clip hurts the top of your ear after around 45 minutes of wearing ; The cord is oddly stiff, which makes them more likely to split. Mine has a split in the cord in at least 3 places

Follow up

I just want to add that the main issue I have with the Sennheiser OMX 52 is comfort, particularly when putting it on. Once it's on though, you almost forget it's there, yet its lightweight factor doesn't mean sound quality is compromised. My earlier...
