Many outstanding attributes, but the construction is poor. the cord became brittle within a few months, and within 6 months, the right headphone was blown, producing terrible distortion and static. Disappointing given the price.

Used these headphones regularly but lightly (at the gym) for less than a year, and the connection at the plug came loose. This caused the sound to cut out and crackle in the left ear. Also, the wire from the 'Y' join to one of the ears was way too...

Like others have said, they do no fit/stay in/on ears hence the poor sound quality. How could a company like this approve such horrendous design is beyond me. I paid $18 and am furious... I cannot imagine the disappointment on those who paid full...

I've had these since 2008 and they've survived countless trips to the gym and outdoor runs. They sound very natural with a slight emphasis on the bass and treble. You can do better in the SQ department for earphones at this price, but those won't be...

I paid extra for these b/c sennheiser has a good reputation. The wires in one side were broke after just 3 runs. Don't waste your money on them.

I've been through 3 different models, one of which still works and I like it. These buds were my first and about the best sounding bassy ones of the MX line.

I have 3 other sets of Sennheiser earphones that I've been thoroughly impressed with, so ordering these for working out was a no-brainer. Turns out that they are simply not up to the expected quality.
