Sennheiser PC141

Another model in Sennheiser's range of PC headphones, the PC141 is designed as an all-purpose computer headset for gaming, music and internet telephon...

Good all-purpose sound

Harsh sound at times

Sennheiser's PC141 is a decent all-purpose PC headset that will be suitable for gaming, music or Internet telephony. It doesn't offer the best quality audio, but for the average user looking for a budget solution, it's a good choice.

Lasted for three weeks.

Learned my lesson and bought a better headset from Newegg and have had it since.

Decent sound and lightweight

Uncomfortable with more than 45 minutes of wearing ; I knocked them off my table by accident, which is 4 feet off the ground, and the mic snapped off (on carpet). How they managed to do that still confounds me

Okay, but flawed

I'd recommend this headset to people who don't use the mute that much and don't have big hat sizes (and who knows what hat size they have, anyways...)

Lightweight, it's got a good fit for people with average or small heads. Pretty durable and the noise canceling is above average

Muddy base response, mic makes a white noise broadcast when muted or unmuted. Don't use if you have a big head - literally :)

Long cord. The shape of the "over-ear" is perfect. Sound is fine, it works well for the price

Mute switch doesn't always turn back on, has to be wiggled ; The frame, that goes around behind the head is VERY flexible, and it feels like its going to twist/snap/break each time i take them off

Very average headset

If your goal is to get a great set of headphones with a nice microphone included, I would look else where. I don't think you can buy great headphones with a mic attached at this price point. If you want something that plays sounds decent and has a good...

1) the cord is long enough to reach any where in a medium size room ; 2) The microphone adjustment is really useful and is the best asset of the headset ; 3) The headset is fairly inexpensive

1) The speakers have very little bass, volume is on the quiet side, and sounds in general aren't very immersive ; 2) The microphone actually works very well. No one I game online with has ever complained about my voice sounding weird, despite the fact...

This headset is merely average. Mine developed rattling in the left and right speakers after a few months of use. After cleaning them with compressed air they've been fine for a while. Sound quality is good, but not great. It's very hard to find a good...

Supra-aural behind the neck design ; Comfortable and light ; Microphone is good quality

Rattling from speakers may be heard ; Sound range. (Typical of all headphones this size.)

I have a pair or Sennheiser hd 457 earphones I use for gaming that have a mic duct taped on. I thought these might be better. The sound was still pretty good although not as good as the hd 457's and the mic was certainly better than my taped on one....

Sound quality was good. The mic was also clear

So uncomfortable I returned them
