Sennheiser PMX 60 Review

Great neckband design and sound quality for listening to music!

With Sennheiser PMX-60 headphones, users get a dynamic device that fits a wide series of portable audio sources. The sound reproduction is suitable especially for listening to rock and pop music. Also, the frequency response is based on great...

Sennheiser PMX60 Headphones

Makers of premium consumer electronics face a difficult choice when they opt to sell lower-grade accessories: release unimpressive products and tarnish a good brand name, or release impressive products and risk cannibalizing sales of their expensive ones

Tremendous frequency response and balance of sound, wonderfully crisp audio that feels comfortable to wear, not embarrassing as with some over-ear phones

Sound leakage and lack of isolation ; short cord

Two of Sennheiser's three offerings for portable players are definite winners: while the PMX60s were our favorite-sounding headphones of the bunch we've tested, and a good value for the dollar overall, the MX500s are the easiest replacement iPod...

Excellent for price

I will defintely buy more when these wear out.

Very light, great fit. I have had several brain surgerys and can not stand regular over the head type headphones. There has been a lot of complaints of the cord length, I have not had any problems. I use them everyday at the gym and have had no problem...

The ear pads wear too easily, but are easy to replace. The thicker ones last a lot longer and are still very comfortable

Excellent for this style of headphones

I really don't understand how anyone could say the cord is too short, unless you're prone to carrying your MP3 player in your sock. The bass reproduction really isn't that bad, but certainly less than you'll get from decent in- or over-the-ear...

Great sound *for a supra-aural headset*, sturdy construction, very comfortable to wear for a long stretch. PLENTY of cord length (see "other thoughts"). And I got them on sale for $20 off the regular price! Gotta love NewEgg

If I HAVE to find something to be negative about, and this is nitpicking at best, it's that the cord is TOO long. I'd say I have an extra 18" of cord length I could do without. I wear my Storm 2 on a belt clip (yeah, I'm one of THOSE guys) and listen...

"Bang for the Buck" Incarnate

Mine have lasted 2+ years. I take them running, plug em into the practice amp, and even hung them from a review mirror when a buddy's radio broke :D

All types of music come through with unparalleled clarity at this price range. Distortion occurs at volumes high enough that you should consider speakers rather than headphones. Very lightweight and remain comfortable after prolonged use

Although they never sound muddy; every once in a while you will push them against your head and hear some low end that seems to escape

Great Value

Great sound and fits very well on my head. The earphones are very good value for the price. Some complained about the length of the cord, but it seemed fine by me. I worked out with the earphone wire attached to my IPod which was in my back pocket....

Awesome

I broke them by kneeling to pick up something, and the cord got caught on my knee. the odd part was how it broke, the cord didn't tear out of the headphones, the around-the head part broke off. Makes a nice pair of refrigerator magnets, at least. I am...

great headphones

A little loud, I always have to put the volume control on the lowest possible setting

good stuff

great buy, more expensive than i would like to pay for headphones but i am cheap, the sound can only be as good as your equalizer just a fact of music, newegg always the best for fast shipping, if you have the money these are a good buy, i dont regret...

great sound quality, you almost forget you are wearing them, strong design

cord is kinda short but it depends on your use, great for running if your mp3 player is on your arm, the cord will go to your pocket too but there isnt as much slack, after long periods of wear they kinda hurt your ears but i havent had a pair of...

Awesome Sound

I did manage to snap my first pair. But I REALLY don't think the average user would break these at all. Mine was ripped from the cord because it got caught on the bars of my bike while i was attempting a tailwhip. Still, VERY strong headphones with...

Awesome sound. Best sounding headphones I have ever owned. Very comfortable, they don't make your ear hurt, and you can wear them doing just about anything (and I have pretty much). Very tough, hold up to a lot of abuse
