Who hasn't heard of the Sennheiser brand? Stand up so we can see you, as you would seriously be one of a kind. Especially if you're into any kind of multimedia or audio, you would have definitely held, heard, or seen Sennheiser headphones. The brand is...

All in all, I like these headphones a lot for their build quality, ergonomic design and sound. Ironically, they appear to sound better in passive mode. In active mode, the low buzz of background noise is definitely abolished, but the inherent noise of...

Sennheiser PXC 350 Noise-canceling Headphones

High-end noise-canceling headphones

The sound quality provided by these headphones is quite good, with music being delivered with clarity. The noise-canceling feature of the headphones is very effective. No sound is leaked out of the headphones when sound is played at high volumes....

These headphones don't perform too well when not equipped with batteries

High-end headphones that provide noise-cancellation as well are pretty rare, and the Sennheiser PXC 350 takes the cake. With durable and lightweight construction as well as active noise-cancellation which uses advanced technology, these headphones...

Sennheiser PXC 350 headphones review

Jargon is an inevitable by-product when describing a technology, but manufacturers of audio equipment really seem to excel at making things sound complicated. Take the Sennheiser PXC 350 headphones, for example, they have adaptive baffle damping, which...

Sitting just below the PXC450, Sennheiser's PXC350 offers a more affordable but still quite pricey noise canceling solution for frequent travelers. Fo...

Great noise cancelling, comfortable, good audio quality

General lack of control and refinement in the sound, costly

If you're after a high quality pair of noise-cancelling headphones and can do without the TalkThrough feature found on Sennheiser's PXC450, then the cheaper PXC350 are a great alternative.

Sennheiser PXC 350 headphones review

Brilliant set of noise-cancelling cans, complete with sound quality at an audiophile-grade level. Although still functional without batteries, sound quality loses its spark when they're taken away. A worthy purchase for the price but the superb...

Sound quality ; Noise cancelling ; Leak-free even at high volume ; Great build quality ; Price ; Lightweight

No 'TalkThrough' feature as seen on PXC 450s ; Less inspiring sound without batteries

If you want the handy TalkThrough feature and improved noise cancelling, sell some old CDs and put it towards getting the model up. Otherwise, the PXC 350s are a stonking good set of cans for an attractive price

Terrific sound quality and good noise cancellation, but a couple of great features have been taken away to keep the cost down

Nagging partners, crying babies, insufferable mothers-in-law: all can be blocked out by the Sennheiser PXC 350 noise-cancellors. Just make sure you've got the NoiseGard activated first! Sennheiser PXC-350 is tagged with Sennheiser, NoiseGard,...

Product Specifications

The PXC 350 is a circumaural high-end travel headphone set with NoiseGard Advance technology for active attenuation of ambient noise. The PXC 350 enables an unprecedented sound experience for people on the move, thanks to its adaptive baffle damping in combination with the patented Duofol diaphragms, which prevent unwanted partial oscillation and thus guarantee a highly natural, lifelike sound quality. NoiseGard is an active noise compensation system, which Sennheiser originally developed for use by pilots, who have to rely on good sound quality and efficient protection against ambient noise even in high-noise environments. NoiseGard actively compensates the noise, based on the physics principle of sound and counter-sound. The PXC 350 features the NoiseGard Advance technology. This technology is a further development of the filter functions used in the original NoiseGard system, and enables even better active attenuation of ambient noise of up to 85%. It is of course also possible to use these headphones passively, i.e. without NoiseGard and without batteries.
