Sennheiser Wireless RF (with Charging Cradle)

Editor's note: We have changed the rating in this review to reflect recent changes in our rating scale. Click here to find out more.

Wireless headphones; lightweight and extremely comfy; excellent sound quality; transmitter base doubles as a battery charger; built-in volume control.

Noise and hiss sometimes intrude on the sound; volume and tuning controls are too close together.

Sennheiser's affordable, comfortable wireless headphones sound almost as good as corded 'phones.

"These are NOT great headphones."

It's like listening to vinyl records, they have a low background hiss all the time regardless of what channel they are on, Don't bother, save your money for a better quality pair of headphones.

Not that expensive and light weight. Well designed visually and easy to use.

Low background hiss is constant. The sound quality is not great for a headphone of its size.

"A wonderful aid for our multi-family household."

Worth every penny. Great sound and we've noticed no buzz like some others have mentioned. Go for it!

Great for late night listening, also great for our hearing impaired who can listen at higher sound while others can hear normally. We can also mute the sound for folks in the room who want to talk while others listen through the headphones. It's been a

Honestly can't find a single thing to fault with this system.

"The worst headset i have heard. At any price."

I cant understand that Sennheizer send a product of so much lack of quality out on the market.

They look OK, and have a nice way to store and charge.

The sound is very bad. It is a lot of noise, so much that you can hear it both in the musik, and in musik pause. It is impossible to play at loud level, because they destroy the musik with a lot of distortion long before you reach any hi volume at all. at

"Good while it lasted"

Until I receive the Panasonic that I have ordered I have no other wireless set to compare the Sennheiser with. However, I was quite happy with the sound quality but very disappointed with the lack of reliability of this pricey product.

Sounded OK

I had to return the original set after a few months when the left phone failed. I am now returning it again after another year because it works for a few minutes and then the base stops transmitting.

"Hot, heavy, noisy"

I have the 126s... avoid them at all costs.

The idea of a useful set of wireless headphones is a good one.

This is not that set of useful headphones. Near constant crackling, hissing and white noise - no matter the RF channel chosen or the position on the tuning wheel. This performance over a distance of only 10 feet! Plus, hot and heavy.

"Great headphones at a budget price"

I bought these to listen to the TV and music while others are asleep... I'm a night owl. I did buy these factory refurbished at about 2/3rds the price, no problems to report.

Very comfortable to wear. Good bass for headphones, much better than ear buds. Excellent, clear audio... although I'm no pro. Replaceable AAA rechargeable batteries. Very good range. Wireless!

Occasional "hiss" as you move around, especially at a distance. Should have swapped the "tuner" and volume knob positions but you"ll quickly learn which is which.

"Excellent value for under $100."

I got the RS120 a month ago. The sound clarity and bass are excellent. Other than occasional interference, it's perfect

There is occasional interference, like phone and some unidentified sources.

"Adequate for listening to a TV"

It's difficult to try and purchase wireless headphones when you are unable to try them first. If you have several electronics stores in your area, then you have a better chance of choosing a set to fit your needs. Maybe the technology is not there yet....

I think I'd look around. Best Buy had 2 Son'ys in stock, and Radio shack had -0-. I just wanted a wireless headphone set so I didn't have to deal with wires. There's plenty of cordless head phone sets on the net, but which one to buy. Look nice!!

No steps to setup this unit. Small print, several languages, after setup, I was able to listen to aircraft pilot and ground control....after final setup, the hiss was terrible.... need to use the tune wheel and raise the volume on the TV.
