The headphones are better than run of the mill phones but aren't good enough that I can clearly hear podcasts on the DC metro. Also after 30 minutes or more of use with the power on they start irritating me.

This is my second set - foam inside earpiece became brittle and disintegrated on first set, which was ~7 years old and went all over the world.

Ok lets face it, these cost $33 what do you expect ! If you want true noise cancellation headphones then add a zero to that price. For $33 these are very good for that price. I bought them in the states and used them on the way home on the plane. Yes...

These are so so, but I'm sure the Bose kicks their booty
