Shure SE215

Excellent audio performance—solid clarity and bass without over-boosting. Replaceable cable. Includes six different sizes of ear tips

Fit becomes loose if over-ear wire isn't strongly secured

At just $119, the Shure SE215 has no business sounding this good—and its replaceable cable means it should last longer than typical hard-wired models.

Review: Shure SE215

Search the headphone forum and read the gadget blogs. You'll find many fans of the Shure SE215 earbuds. The praise is deserved -- they do...

Great sound. Cables detach and are replaceable if they wear out. Lots of tip options in the box

They aren’t the most comfortable buds in the bin. Finding the correct seal and fit takes a lot of patience. No remote or microphone, so you’ll be de-pocketing your mobile more often

Shure SE215 earphones review

Altec Lansing announces a trio of 'Custom Series' in-ear monitors -- no, seriouslyShure's SE210m+ sound isolating earbuds include

Solid sound isolation ; Clear, powerful drivers ; Low cable handling noise

Bass overwhelms ; Awkward fit ; Large physical size

These middle-of-the-road earphones perform well in certain situations, but pack too much bass for their own good.

Shure SE215 Earphones (Playback 52)

Marketing, public relations pros, and, yes, even journalists, tend to neglect the middle-priced products in most manufacturers' lines. It's easy to understand why. Budget-priced products can be praised for their value, and top-of-the-line items can be...

Shure SE215 review

Even Shure's budget earphones don't come cheap, but the SE215 set's carefully designed audio signature makes them sound far more expensive than they are

With outstanding physical construction, a two-year warranty, excellent sound isolation and brilliant audio quality, this is easily one of the best sets of earphones you can buy for the price. It’s an ideal compromise between the painful pricing of...

Shure SE215

They look like the top-end SE535, but can they compete on sound?

Powerful, thud-tastic bass, Wide soundstage, Class-leading cable quality

Not the most detailed treble

Shure SE215

Pro build and features, rich, weighty sound, good mid/bass detail

Not as driving or sparkly as we'd like, thanks to that rich character

Shure’s top-end features filter down to an affordable level

Shure SE215 review

The sound produced by these earphones is immense

The most impressive sound quality of all the earphones tested here

Expensive; inverted design meant that the SE125s kept popping out; difficult to swap earbuds

Perhaps the most impressive test here, though, was classical piano, where we were treated to a rich, dramatic sound, with even the excellent-sounding Altec Lansing headphones unable to match the bass presence.

Shure SE215

The Shure SE215 headphones are the entry-level offerings in the award winning SE Series. These in-ear isolation headphones come with a single dynamic driver and a frequency range between 17 – 22,000Hz. Delivering up to 102dB of sound, you'll find a...

Shure may consider these headphones to be entry-level but in terms of quality you wouldn’t think so. Sure, the design is a little love it/hate it but is you’re a fan of the brand then you’ll already be warming to what these budget cans have to offer....

Great Sound and Quality

The sound isolation is incredible. Even on very low volume you wont be able to hear any outside noise. Will save your hearing ; They don't have overblown bass like most buds. You can listen to real music and get the highs and the mids to come through ;...

They can be a little difficult to put in and adjust to your ear. It'll take some time to get used to it, but eventually it will conform to your ear and it'll be a breeze to put them on
