Shure SE315 Sound Isolating Earphones review: Shure SE315 Sound Isolating Earphones

Shure has been churning out impressive-sounding in-ear headphones for consumers for more than 15 years, and any new models from the company have featured mainly evolutionary changes from their predecessors. The latest update to the Shure consumer line...

The Shure SE315 earphones offer an exceptionally durable design. The package includes useful extras such as a case and the Shure Fit Kit.

The Shure SE315 earphones don't offer great sound quality across the board considering the price point. Getting a good fit takes effort, and these may not be comfortable for all people.

The Shure SE315 Sound Isolating Earphones offer an exceptionally durable design, but you can find better-sounding sets for about half the price.

Shure SE315 earphones

Shure's experience in the canalphone market has allowed the company to zero in on a nearly ideal design

Good design and comfort ; Good sound quality

Missing some bass impact ; Expensive

The SE315’s design and ergonomics are as good as it gets for in-ear-canal headphones without stepping up to custom models. The SE315’s sound quality is almost as good as its design, with a neutral balance and great detail, missing only some bass impact...

Shure SE315

Shure's top of the range single-driver earphones have their work cut out to justify the fairly high asking price.

Modular design, Great sound quality, Excellent noise isolation

Inconvenient fit, Expensive

Shure SE315 review

The company recently updated most of its line, including the £69 SE215 (which features a dynamic, or moving-coil, driver), the £121 SE315 (with a balanced-armature driver), the £168 SE425 (with dual balanced armatures), and the £266 SE535 (with triple...

Shure SE315 review

Shure has produced another pair of earphones with exceptionally clear sound, although they're somewhat lacking in bass power.

Despite this, we were won over by the SE315s’ clarity and precision. You'll need to make sure that your music is encoded in high bitrate or lossless formats to make the most of them. The relatively poor bass performance prevents them from winning an...

Shure SE315 earphones shine, headset adapter is convenient

Shure has a long history of making professional audio products. In the late 1990s, the company introduced its first in-ear monitors for use in live-sound situations (performances, studio work, and the like), and when the company adapted these models...

Earbuds and Aerial : Shure SE315 Earbuds & OneForAll SV9325 Full HD Indoor Aerial

The first is a good way to listen with some rather nice earbuds multi sized from Shure. The second a really small TV aerial that can give reception in places without a roof or loft aerial, best of all its easy to move with the TV this from OneForAll.

In its conventional use you need a mains socket fairly near as it needs power however it also comes with a USB lead so you can also power it from a PC or even a notebook so external power is not a certain requirement
