This is my second pair. I use them in the field everyday and they work great. I love Sony products.

I am a sound design major student and the head phones are great for music and audio editing however they are uncomfortable and for people like me who will be wearing them for hours you may want to take comfort into consideration.

Bottom-Line: I am very pleased with my new "Sony MDR-V6 Professional Stereo Headphones," so much so that I might just purchase a set for work.

I bought these to use with my ipod. They have good volume, but for the size, the bass is weak. I have some $12 JVC headphones with better bass. They look better than they sound. I expected so much more.

Best headphones hands down

These are seriously the best. Yes they may be pretty old and they're not all shiny and silver, but if you're going more for sound quality than looks, then these are for you.
