Sony MDR-AS20J Headphones

Sony's MDR-AS20J will go the distance with you — they sailed through our durability tests and did a good job repelling water and sweat. While these headphones will stay put once on, they aren't adjustable. Also, sound quality is just average....

Sony MDR-AS20J Active headphones

Sony's curvy MDR-AS20Js are a suitable choice for MP3 player owners who simply want a more secure pair of earphones for the gym, but don't need better audio quality than that of stock earbuds.

Uniquely designed ; Offer an understated style ; Detachable clip keeps the cable out of the way during activity

Ear loops are not adjustable and some users will not be able to achieve a secure fit ; Package doesn't include a case or any extras ; Some music sounds muffled

Performance The sound quality offered by the MDR-AS20J earphones is nothing to write home about — it's roughly what you get from a slightly above-average pair of stock 'buds. On the one hand, bass response is admirable for such an inexpensive set. It's...

Like the other headphones in the Active line, the MDR-AS20J is mostly black in colour with some minimal silver and red accents - it's an understated look. The earphones also offer the detachable shirt clip for keeping the cable out of the way during...

Good sounding headphones

Headphones have good bass and range. Stay put when I'm running. Cord is long enough. No volume control, so 4 stars for features.

Not Bad

I bought these about a year ago and love them. They were great for the price and stay on well. But over time one earbud got to have a lower volume. I think i'll shell out the money for a more expensive pair this time.

Great sound for the price, inexpensive, stay even when sweaty

Stopped working

Shocking

I bougt these earphones for running. The first time I used them I had no problems. The second time I used them only one earbud was working. The third and last time I used these headphones I was electrically shocked repeatedly first from one side and...

Beware of this product

Bought these to replace a pair of 3-yr old Skull Candy ear buds. The SC buds had a straight plug and failed at the strain relief - one channel had intermittent connection. Probably failed because of the way I run the wire while I'm exercising.

Inexpensive

Stopped working after two weeks, tangle easily, feel like they will fall out

Have also experienced problem w/Right Earbud

I was happy with these at first - I've never had good luck with this style of headphone before, but the added "nub" that fits behind the ear and the closed-loop design makes them stay on better than other models I've tried.

Fit and stay on better than most over-the-ear headphones

Only lasted 3 weeks before I had problems with them
