Sony MDR-AS20J Headphones

Maxell’s Encore EN-5 offer a rich, full sound for an affordable price, beating out nearly all of the headphones in the test. However, our testers didn’t think they were very comfortable, nor did this pair do a good job staying put during use....

nbsp ; Excellent sound quality ; Adjustable ; Can withstand multiple drops ; Water-resistant ; Light weight and wraps up tightly for easy portability

nbsp ; Didn’t take much force to remove the headphones during our force test ; Consumer testers didn’t find them very comfortable to wear for long periods of time ; Didn’t always stay put during use for our consumer testers

Good value for the money, I only wish they would have lasted longer. The sound quality is passable, but the fit is excellent! These are a good choice for the user that wants a better fit for the gym, but isn't overly concerned with high quality sound.

Excellent value for the money. Some say they had trouble getting a secure fit, but I found the fit to be perfect despite usually having a hard time in that department. Convenient clip keeps the cord out of the way

Sound quality is average at best, but my main complaint is the lifespan. I usually get a good year out of my buds, but these quit working well after only about four months

They are cheap, so you get what you pay for, but I would avoid these if you are going to use them for any sort of "active" use.

The sound quality is decent

Poorly made jack looses inside contact with my ipod (and speakers and phone) causing music to cut out constantly. The fit is not great on ears either, stated for active wear, but they barely stay on when running
