Sony MDR-AS50G

Sony has a winner with its MDR-AS50G sport headphones: They're lightweight, they fit securely, and they sound good indoors and outside. Their in-ear design is definitely geared towards fitness nuts rather than commuters; they don't block out a whole...

Great sounding; comfortable; very secure fit; modular cabling

minimal noise blocking

the AS50G's stand out with their low price and their ability to stay in your ears no matter how hard you sweat to the oldies.

Sony MDR-AS50G review

The quality of fit helps with audio quality too, even if these unsurprisingly can't compete with high-end audiophile models. There isn't a massive oomph to the sound, but it's warm and clear, and coped easily with the pop and gentler rock acts we threw...

Not as good as some of its rivals such as the Philips ActionFit, but another successful execution of the neckband concept. A good, secure and comfortable fit, decent sound quality and an affordable price tag.

Sony MDR-AS50G review

These earphones are designed to stay put during exercise. The drivers are fixed to the flexible neckband with rotating mounts, giving an extremely comfortable fit within the ear canal. There's a clever system to adjust the point where the cable...

Worth considering for active use but not the best choice for all-day listening.

The Sony MDR-AS50G Ear-canal neckband sports earphones come with multiple sized earbuds, two lengths of cable and gold plug. They weigh 15g. The good Sony headphones come in two varieties – banging and extra-banging. These sports earbuds fall into the...

A huge step up from the earphones that come with your player, but probably more attractive to power-walkers and gym dodgers than hard-core athletes. Sony MDR-AS50G is tagged with Sony MDR-AS50G, Sony and headphones. Select a tag (Sony MDR-AS50G, for...

Sony MDR-AS50G

I'd give this set of earphones 4.5 stars out of 5. It is everything you want an active set of earphones to be. Comfortable, good fit, good bass response (which is important for running music) and it doesn't break the bank. I know $50 is a little more...

Sony MDR-AS50G

I purchased these because another reviewer mentioned that they were very good for working out. These headphones float above your ears, and so they pull out super easy, I could not even turn my head with my coat on without these popping out. I finally...

Sony MDR-AS50G

Headphones sound great and the fit is good and very clever. I have worn them for up to 2 hours and they are quite comfortable. They have a short cord if you keep your MP3 player on an armband and a second “extender” cord if you want to reach your belt....
