Sony MDR-EX750

The Sony MDR-EX750 are noise cancelling earphones. Noise cancelling headphones are rare enough, but in-ear ones are even harder to find.

Decent battery life ; Sensible design ; Good tonal balance

Some stability issues ; Slightly harsh upper mids ; Some sibilance

Solid, if slightly tiring, active noise cancellation earphones.

Sony h.ear in NC review

These in-ears block out the world, but they fall short on sound quality...

Colourful finishes ; Comfortable and secure fit ; Crisp, fast and agile sound

Lacks insight and weight ; Bettered for dynamics and detail

They put a wedge between your music and the noisy world, but need to sound much better

Sony MDR-EX750NA review

  (Rating Hidden)

The Sony MDR-EX750NA in-ear headphones have a built-in noise cancelling feature, which when enabled should remove the background chatter of everyday life and let you focus on your favourite music. They come with a range of earbuds to ensure a good fit....

SONY h.ear in NC MDR-EX750NAL Noise-Cancelling Headphones - Viridian Blue

Used recently on a flight to New York and they worked well, cutting out most of the plane noise so long as they were pushed well down into my ears. Battery lasted ages.

Battery pack is annoying and tended to pull earplugs out with its weight. Instructions say to recharge via laptop - but I don't take a laptop away with me.

Tangle free headphones

A replacement for my old ones which had lasted 7 years and I didn't want the over the ears type. Totally reliable with great sound. Love the colour which is blue jade. My only dislike is the ear buds slightly protrude so they're not as comfortable when...

SONY h.ear in NC MDR-EX750NAL Noise-Cancelling Headphones - Viridian Blue

I love the colour 'viridian blue' Noise cancelling makes a really great sound with good fit in the ears.

I didn't realise until I opened the box that the earphones need charging for 4 hrs to fully change they will then last for 17 hours, so a battery pack is attached to the cable at the end where you plug into your music defice/phone.
