Sony MDR-NC33 review

Better than your bundled 'phones, but you can do much better for the cash

Good detailing ; comfortable, sweet midrange

Cheap feel ; poor noise-cancelling ; bass-light

The sound’s passable, but they don’t do what it says on the tin

I own serveral pair of headphones but these are just over priced

These sound good, but If I would have bought them at a local store I would be taking them back. This is only noise cancelling because of the good seal. The 2 egg rating is because they are over priced and not in the leauge of other $70 headphones. I...

Sounds good & fit good in my ear. I do like the monitor button so you can hear what someone is saying with just a quick click of a button (but you do have to keep holding it down)

The noise cancelling doesn't do anything, I flip the swith on and then back off no difference I can hear the power come on but that is it. I don't know if these are not functional or just not good noise cancelling. I am real disappointed with these for...

Amazing Quality

too bad all new amd cpus wont have the unlocking the new 880 amd chipsets and 6 core cpus will never be unlockable to 8s or ect! when you get a cpu! and it unlocks dont tell anybody. because it gets back to companies and they stop giving away great...

Sound quality is amazing for such a small size, I even have full sized headphones that do not sound as good as these ; Sound isolating and canceling are great, they really get rid of all background noise. I wear them when I am at the gym and I never...

The only con I can think of are the ear buds can fall off pretty easy if you are trying to clean them. Especially if your in the gym trying to do it. Definitely promotes keeping your ears clean. Not worth taking off an egg for though

They deliver what's expected !

I bought them 3 years ago, mainly to be able to work in noisy office spaces or to be able to listen to music on the train or on the plane. I needed something that I can always have with me. Over 3 years, I have probably changed the batteries once a...

Hi quality on built, noise cancellation and sound. well finished product. Really light to carry around.

The bass are not very powerful, but I still think the sound is quite balanced. Pricy.

Won't fly without them

After spending several years using bud-earphones in an attempt to minimise aircraft cabin-noise, I tried a set of Panasonic Noise-cancelling Hadphones. These were bulky and ineffective. I purchased the Sony MDR-NC33 earphones before leaving on a trip....

Effective, reliable and relatively discreet. Good instructions.

A little pricey for bud ear-phones

Sony MDR-NC33

These in-ear phones give good clear mid and high tones. The bass is, if anything a bit muddy, but then this causes less ear damage. As to the sound cancellation; I have only tried this at home, but Sony's claim of 90% reduction is greatly overstated....
