Noise-cancelling headphones - Denon AHNC800, Sennheiser PXC310BT & Sony MDR-NC33

Aimed at frequent travellers and those working in environments that suffer from a constant din, noise-cancelling headphones can bring some much-needed peace to your musical listening - but until recently, they've have been relatively high-end and ...

Which pair of headphones is for you will depend on your preferences - though it should be obvious that the Sennheisers impressed us most. Relatively compact and with a thoroughly effective noise-cancelling feature, these are what to go for if you're...

Good for the price

Not as good as the Bose, but much more compact for traveling. Definitely reduced the noise on a plane and made the trip more pleasant. No 3 modes, none mentioned in the documentation. A good choice if you don\'t want to pay $180 for the next better...

70 not too old

On the treadmill and while exercising, I don\'t need to worry that the earbuds will fall out, cause they don\'t.

They seem to work!

At first, I was not sure that they would be as good as the Bose noice cancelling. They are not but are easy to travel with and more compact

They deliver what's expected !

I bought them 3 years ago, mainly to be able to work in noisy office spaces or to be able to listen to music on the train or on the plane. I needed something that I can always have with me. Over 3 years, I have probably changed the batteries once a...

Hi quality on built, noise cancellation and sound. well finished product. Really light to carry around.

The bass are not very powerful, but I still think the sound is quite balanced. Pricy.

Won't fly without them

After spending several years using bud-earphones in an attempt to minimise aircraft cabin-noise, I tried a set of Panasonic Noise-cancelling Hadphones. These were bulky and ineffective. I purchased the Sony MDR-NC33 earphones before leaving on a trip....

Effective, reliable and relatively discreet. Good instructions.

A little pricey for bud ear-phones

Sony MDR-NC33

These in-ear phones give good clear mid and high tones. The bass is, if anything a bit muddy, but then this causes less ear damage. As to the sound cancellation; I have only tried this at home, but Sony's claim of 90% reduction is greatly overstated....

Good, Solid, Ear Bud headphones

I love these ear buds. The battery lasts quite a while, apparently 100 hours, and that sounds about right. The noise cancelling is excellent for any constant sound, like a bus, or plane.. works fantastic for drowning out constant background sound. As...

Ok -- limited ability on noise reduction

These are comfortable and portable. If on sale, they are decent and have some noise cancellation ability. But do not expect too much. Overall, they are good value.
