Sony MDR-NC7 Noise Cancelling Headphones

We have not done a headphone review for a while, and personally I had begun to miss them. Then like a child who receives his first birthday gift, I got my grubby hands on the Sony MDR-NC7 noise cancellation headphones, and one thing I can say about...

At Rs. 4490 I feel these headphones are reasonable for our market, in comparison to other brands. NC headphones should be cheaper, and this Sony model is setting an example, though there are drawbacks. The sound quality is decent, but does not have...

Sony MDR-NC7

Well, they're not the worst headphones we've reviewed, but we'll go out on a limb to say that you should probably reconsider if you find these on a shelf somewhere and feel like shelling out for them. The Sony MDR-NC7s massively underperform, and...

Relatively comfortable, even over time ; Airplane adapter are included

Noise canceling feature doesn’t work ; Bad sound quality

We strongly recommend that you avoid buying these headphones.

Sony MDR NC7 (White)

The Sony MDR-NC7 Noise Canceling headphones are very affordable and the earpads are soft. Package includes an airline adapter and a travel pouch, and the headphones are nice-looking.

The headband of the Sony MDR-NC7 Noise Canceling headphones tends to chafe, and bass is lacking. Noise canceling isn't the most effective we've heard.

The Sony MDR-NC7 Noise Canceling headphones are an OK option for travel fiends operating on a strict budget.

We strongly recommend that you avoid buying these headphones. If it wasn’t bad enough that they flat-out lie about their abilities, they also massively underperform at a hugely inflated cost. As we demonstrated in our comparisons, you can do much...

"Perfect for the price"

Ive paid 27 dollars on it, and i dont regret at all!!! Would pay up to 60 dollars. More than that, you can find better ones.

Nice sound, confortable, cheap, SONY.

Uses AA battery unstead of integrated lithium ones

"Son perfectos, solo no esperes muchos bajos de estos."

Son perfectos, solo no esperes muchos bajos de estos. En lo personal muchos bajos arruinan una cancion. Siempre hay que buscar un buen balance, y estos audifonos lo logran aceptadamente, ayudados de su gran rango de frecuencias.

Son unos audifonos muy portables, y el largo del cable es perfecto

La bateria se llega a agotar rapidamente, o antes de lo esperado. Recomendaria usar pilas recargables.

"So uncomfortable"

I've had these for a while and I don't know if it's nust my headphones but inside each of the cans there is a small hard bump that places a great deal of pressure on the ear lobe. They are very uncomfortable for long periods of listening. I wouldn't...

Cheap. Sound is not bad.

Highly uncomfortable. Not well designed.

"Pretty Good head phones"

I got these yesterday and they sound good. They were $50 and I have to say, it was pretty worth it. They look stylish, they sound good, and they can fold up. The noise canceling is actually really good. They are the most comfortabe headphones I have...

Pretty cheap, good noise canceling, decent base, very comfortable, portable, and has a carrying case

I wish it was louder

"If you listen to hip-hop, don't even consider these."

If you primarily listen to hip-hop, r&b, or any other genre with similar audio qualities, then skip these altogether. Decidedly underwhelming sound and noise cancelling. Don't let the allure of "cheap noise cancelling" headphones lead you to waste...

None for my purposes, but your mileage may vary depending on what genre you listen to. I can imagine that they're decent for listening to voice only recordings.

Underwhelming sound and noise cancelling. Not particularly comfortable. Would be better served with similar costing headphones that don't have active noise cancelling feature.

"Not bad for cheap"

For the price I paid (about 50 bucks after tax) these are OK. They aren't super, but for the price, they are fantastic. If you know how to work an equalizer you can fix all those "no bass" problems everyone seems to complain about. The bass actually...

OK sound quality

Lack of Treble
