sony MDR-RF4000K headphone

comfortable earpieces, good volume control and sound quality. But what would you expect from Sony? I use these to listen to TV when my husband wants to sleep. They work like a dream

Good Product, 100% Reliable

I purchased my head phones in September 2010. Never had a problem thus far, except the lid to the battery broke off the 1st time I dropped them, however they work w/o the lid. The sound quality & frequency response is very good, clean, crisp & dynamic,...

Do not buy Sony MDR-RF4000K

I bought these headphones after doing extensive research online. Unfortunately this was not enough to discover what seems to be a major flaw with these headphones. After a while they start to drop out and need to be removed from the head and put back...

garbage

after spending months looking for the "perfect" wireless headphones I settled on these because they met almost all of my needs at a relatively low cost but the whole "wear to hear" thing is garbage, basically sitting too loose on your head because...

Batteries dying after three months...

Pros: 1. The headphones seem to have decent fidelity, and 2. the range is fairly good. Cons: 1. The battery pack (2 AAA's) is dying after three months. The phones use a proprietary battery and will not charge other re-chargeables. It started out with...

Garbage, after 7 months of light use the sound stops every 10 minutes. I have to take them off my head, push the earphones together and put them back on my head to get the sound to come back on; its related to the "auto" on/off mechanism built into the...

Great for the Money!

Great headphones for the money. I was originally looking at the Sennheiser wireless headphones, but couldn't justify spending the extra dough for the 170s. But, these do the job just fine. Range is OK, and doesn't really require line of site. It's...

Great headphones...when they work.

I'm on my second pair of RF4000Ks, after having the first pair replaced under warranty for the intermittent turning off issue mentioned in many of the other reviews. The second pair developed the same problem after a month of use, and Sony still...

Meh

I am trying to reduce wire clutter on my work desk, so these fit the bill, but I'm not terribly impressed with them. Minus 1 star for the mediocre sound, and another for the poor battery life.

Very comfortable, no signal degradation at other side of the house from the transmitter

Sound is *okay*. The bass is a bit weak and muddy compared to the wired v900hd, but that's to be expected from wireless I guess ; The included battery pack has an 8 hour discharge, but takes *15 hours* to recharge. You will need an extra pair of...
