Sony MDR-V300 Headphones

After having to suffer the untimely death of my previous pair of headphones, a rather cheap pair of Aiwa's, I was in the market for a new set. Needing a pair that would provide clear sound with decent low-end response, fit my head comfortably, and not...

Outstanding performance for the price (MSRP $50), 10 ft (3m) cord will reach just about anywhere you need, Headband expands to fit even large heads, Powerful bass is a positive when watching movies or listening to music dominated by the low end

Powerful bass can wash out mids and highs in some compositions, Long cord can get in the way if being used for mobile use, Some people may find the earcups uncomfortable

Price point is superlative!

20-20K is sooo standard, almost anybody can pass that spec. These are for your children, so they won't suffer hearing loss.

The Sony Digital line has offered good and bad headphones, but the MDR-V300's are outstanding. To appreciate the clarity, transcribe lyrics to an unfamiliar song with these compared to others. The highs do not damage, where other head-phones...

Extra long cord is more appropriate to a radio sound booth than casual use. I would like to compare these to a reference set some time I can afford them

Good Sound but unconfortable

I bought these based on their good reviews but i disliked them so much i returned them.

Sound quality seemed good to my untrained ears

Very uncomfortable for more than 30 minutes, which makes them horrible to use for gaming or watching movies, no inline volume control, which didn't really matter because with the computers sound all the way up they weren't loud at all

great

I had these a couple years back and they lasted me for about three or four years. I broke the frame holding one of the sides, but rigged up a wire frame to hold it and that worked fine. What finally put them beyond use was my fault, because I...

None really -- they deliver really well for the price

MDRV300 Studio Monitor Series Headphones

Good everyday use headphones, but not for the rockers...won't support heavy bass. Very comfortable and attractive.

Not made for STUDIO monitoring

"I bought these Sony MDR-V300 Headphones because I couldn't find the Sony MDR 7502 Headphones that I've used before and broke a pair. The Sony MDR-V300 Headphones have way too much bass response and it will make your music sound like you're listening...

they look good, nice long cord

Too much bass response and too uncomfortable
