Great Phones fo the Bass Lover

I picked these beut's up on a trip to Japan last year when they were first released. I bough them for a wicked $60 which I later found out when i returned home- sell in-store over $100. I own multiple other listening devices but these are the cream of the crop. The noise isolation is perfect! the sound quality is rich with no muffled sounds, and the bass is out of this world. The chord's a perfect length, plus it's non-tangle. I've compared them to the "big" brand over-ear (Dr.Dre's) and i like these much better by a long shot. In my opinion, best headphones under $100 dollars

Sony MDR-XB500 Headphones Reviewed

The MDR-XB500 is the mid-range entry in Sony's trio of "extra bass" headphones which are designed to kick out serious low-end response while still providing excellent performance throughout the rest of the frequency range. They style is hip-hop and...

The XR500 headphones are easily the most powerful headphones I've ever heard in terms of bass performance. If you listen to hip-hop or club music I think you will absolutely love them.- The XR500s are very stylish although the ridiculously sized...

It's too bad Sony doesn't offer a control which lets the user dialback the bass response, because it simply overpowers the rest of themusic. I would really consider an extra bass type headphone because Ido like deep, solid bass but this is just way too...

The Sony MDR-XB500 headphone does exactly what it promises. It deliversunbelievable bass performance in a stylish well-built product. If youare a bass head then these are going to be your dream come true. Ifhowever you are looking for audiophile...

Great headphones for a particular group

These headphones are great, but also have a downside (that can be fixed). Before I get to the Pro's and Con's, I should mention that these headphones are more intended more for recreational use, for those who simply like a little more base when...

A bit pricy, but worth it

This is the first headset that I've ever purchased for over $25. I was concerned about the price, but I figured it was time to get some headphones with sound that wouldn't start cutting out in one ear after a few months use. So far, they haven't...

Quality headphone

Nice sound quality for how much bass they produce, hit the highs and lows while producing a substantial amount of bass. Very comfortable king sized cushions, however I don't recommend lifting weights or running in them. Ears will get sweaty if u try.....
