Sony MDR-XB700

Bassy and plush, the MDR-XB700s will rattle your skull, but also dig into it.

Big ear pads; Affordable

Horribly uncomfortable band; No remote

Issues with the metal band aside, the price you’d pay to nab the Sony MDR-XB700 off the shelf earns you a fun set of headphones if you are a bass lover. While they’re flashy, and certainly look like they set you back a couple hundred bucks, they are at...

Best headphones Ever

The Sony MDR-XB700 Extra Bass Headphones are the best I've owned so far! The bass response is very smooth. The highs are crisp and very clean. The headphones are very light to wear, and doesn't cause fatigue! I rate them at two thumbs up!

outstanding!!!

Great buy, great sound, and build quality. I had the XB500'S and loved them but these thing rattle your head in any genre of music. I'm using a Fiio E6 amp with these and perform great with no distortion of any kind. Clean and crisp.

Nice sound

Theses have great sounding bass response. I usually use them with my iPod and do not have to use bass boost settings to get adequate response. They are comparable to the three prior Sony studio headphones I used until they wore out.
